Join me on a bedtime adventure into outer space. Let's be astronauts and blast off in our rocket ship and travel throughout outer space, looking at the planets and asteroids and enjoying a spacewalk, floating among the stars. Drift off into sleep dreaming of planets, stars, and galaxies.

Are you comfortable in your bed?

Are you warm and cozy?

Let's go on a bedtime adventure together.

Would you like to fly in a rocket ship and travel to outer space with me?

Let's go then.

Let's be astronauts tonight and go wherever we want with our imagination.

First,

Let's get ready.

Close your eyes and imagine yourself sitting in a huge chair at the flight deck of a large spaceship.

All around you there are tons and tons of buttons of all colors and sizes.

There are also levels and measures and numbers and switches that do all sorts of things.

But the main thing you see in front of you is a wide window that looks up into the bright blue sky.

The spaceship is almost ready to take off.

You feel the excitement in your heart.

You hear the engines beginning to turn on.

You hold on to your seat with eyes closed.

You breathe in deeply and out through your mouth and again in and out through your mouth.

Now count down with me.

10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 Blast off!

You feel the movement.

You hear all the sounds and you begin to see the bright blue sky with bits of clouds getting closer and closer and then you zoom past them and the color of the sky gets darker and darker and very quickly you are out of planet Earth and in the calm darkness of space.

As we travel we look through the windows.

We pass the moon so bright gray and white.

We see also some planets.

We zoom by Mars so big and red and then we navigate through so many asteroids.

They zoom past us.

They look like huge gray flying potatoes and we successfully get through all these asteroids and now we see Jupiter.

It's so so big we can't even see the entire planet all at once.

Can you find its great red spot?

And we keep going.

In the distance we see Saturn with all its rings.

The rest of the planets are not in our route right now.

So we just keep going into the darkness.

I think we're ready to go on a spacewalk.

What do you say?

Let's put on our astronaut jumpsuit.

Legs and arms and gloves and boots and the most important part the helmet.

Now that you're fully covered you can really hear yourself breathe.

Are you ready to go on the spacewalk?

Put on your support system backpack and let's go.

You're floating in space now.

There is darkness above and below you.

In front and behind.

You see stars and stars all around.

It's just absolutely magical.

I'll let you fly in silence for a little while so you enjoy this moment.

Time to get back into the spaceship.

As you walk in you still feel dizzy from the magic of the experience you just had.

You slowly take off the jumpsuit and get back to the flight deck.

Time to fly back home.

Remember that this is our imagination.

So we can imagine whatever we want here.

The rocket ship flies all the way back to planet Earth.

As it enters the atmosphere it locates your country,

Your city,

Your neighborhood,

Your house and flies towards it.

And right as you pass above it you jump off of the ship.

And with a big parachute you glide down through your window and right into your bed.

And with the imagery of planets and stars and asteroids and dark space you drift off into sleep dreaming of galaxies.
