Welcome to this guided meditation to fully embody your menstrual phase.

Do this meditation during any day of your period to connect with it and give it the space it deserves.

This is a very powerful moment,

Full of wisdom,

Full of introspection.

To get started,

Make sure you are laying down or sitting comfortably.

Close your eyes.

Feel and notice your body from within.

Picture the position in which your body is resting.

Do a quick body scan,

Starting with your eyes,

Looking into the back of your closed eyelids.

Now,

Picture the air coming in through your nose,

Water falling down all the way into your lungs.

From there,

Oxygen is quickly delivered to your whole body,

Your extremities,

Your arms,

Hands and fingers,

Your legs,

Feet and toes.

Your awareness is inside your body now,

Inward awareness.

Place your hands on your womb.

Feel the warmth your hands are transferring.

And now,

Picture the oxygen being carried into your womb and swirling there,

Oxygenating your shedding womb.

This is the time for silence,

Your inner winter,

Time for hibernation.

This silence allows the space for us to listen to ourselves.

What is your body saying?

What is your body asking from you?

In the space of silence,

We can have clarity by listening and observing what it is that we need,

What it is that we need to cleanse,

To release,

To let go,

To shed.

The menstrual phase can be sensed as the beginning or ending of your cycle.

It's a good moment to reflect on the past month and decide how to prepare yourself for the month to come.

Think of your month prior,

Make a summary in your head.

What were the highlights of this past cycle?

What did you place your attention on mostly?

What activities did you occupy yourself with?

What people did you spend your time with?

Now,

Let's find what it is that you want to let go,

Something you don't want to carry into your next cycle with you.

Focus your attention on a single thing you choose to let go so that you can begin your next cycle with lightness,

Direction,

Clarity.

Thinking of your month prior,

Is there something that weighed heavy on you,

That didn't feel genuine to your person?

Maybe it was an emotion.

Maybe it was a person.

Maybe an activity or maybe a mindset.

Now hold this thing you've chosen to let go in your hands as if it was a ball of colored light.

Look at it with compassion,

Gently,

With forgiveness.

And now,

Release it.

Let the wind carry it further and further from you.

Like a bubble,

It floats away from you until it touches the ground and it disappears into it.

It pops.

Let the ground take it from you.

The ground is an old friend that knows how to transform everything into beauty.

With this lighter feeling,

Having released what no longer serves you,

Come back into your present body,

With your hands maybe still on your womb.

Feel the position you're resting in.

Now,

Place one hand on your heart and the other in the center of your womb.

Remind yourself that this is a time of introspection and rest.

Allow yourself to give your body what it needs,

So that whatever you set yourself up to in your next cycle,

You will begin with full potency.

In a few days,

You'll be bursting with energy,

So make sure to relax and recharge now.

Go through your menstrual phase with full surrender,

So that you can approach your next phase,

The follicular phase,

Fully renewed and ready to take on the world.
