This is a short guided mindfulness exercise designed to help you pause and slow down. The focus is on just pausing, being, and allowing things to be just as they are. Great for in-between meetings or just for when you want to slow down and re-connect with yourself.

Okay,

Let's just take a little break and slow things right down.

So when you're ready,

Coming into stillness,

And just pausing.

You don't need to do anything,

You don't need to change the way you're feeling.

All you need to do is pause.

Whatever you're feeling right now,

Whatever you're experiencing,

Whether it's pleasant or unpleasant,

It doesn't matter.

Everything is welcome in this space,

And all you need to do is just be here.

And of course the mind might be quite busy,

Or maybe there's a lot of energy or emotion in the body,

And that's absolutely fine.

You don't need to change anything.

It's enough just to be here.

It's enough just to exist.

And that's it.

That's the end of our pause together.

So if you find that helpful,

Maybe every so often for the rest of the day,

Just taking a few moments to pause,

Even a few seconds.

Or of course you're always welcome to return to this recording.

But for now,

Good job! Better than I expected, as some meditations seem to promise a lot but fall short for me. Actually all IST meds are quite good. It's just that some don't fit my situation at the time. But this has..things are tipsy survey here with all of us scared about our sister facing uncertainty due to a medical worry. Anyway, this was very helpful. I relaxed and paused and will try to do others times during the day as Neil suggests. Namaste..
