Good morning.

This really lovely practice is designed to set you up for a really good day.

It's designed to help you see the magic in every moment.

Because you've never experienced today before,

And you'll never experience anything like it again.

And it's important to acknowledge the gift of today,

And to be present as far as possible.

Really savour every moment.

So,

If you're still lying down as I often am at this time in the morning,

And you'd like to stay lying down,

Feel free to do so.

But do try and shift around a little bit so you're not in a position that you're going to fall asleep in.

Alternatively,

You could sit up on the edge of the bed on a chair,

Strong back,

Soft belly.

You want to feel awake and alert,

Ready for the new day,

But also relaxed.

And we're going to start with some nose breathing,

Some nostril breathing,

If that's comfortable for you.

Taking a deep breath through your nose,

Feeling the morning air,

Cool,

Crisp and fresh.

Filling your lungs,

Filling your belly,

And then gently breathing out through your nose.

And do this a couple of times.

Deep,

Cool breaths in,

And long,

Slow breaths out.

And taking the time now to check in with yourself,

Noticing how your body feels.

How do you feel physically?

Is there some stiffness,

Some tightness?

A dead hand?

Or are you feeling quite energetic?

Are you ready to go?

Not trying to change anything,

Just noticing,

Checking in with yourself.

How do I feel today?

How do I feel right now?

And then,

When you're ready,

Check in on your state of mind.

Knowing that things change,

Just like the passing clouds.

Emotions come,

They go,

Things change.

But how do you feel right now?

Today is a gift.

Every moment of today is a gift.

We don't have endless tomorrows.

So we're setting ourselves up for a day where we can really be here,

Give,

Be positive,

Engage.

So I've got seven powerful seeds,

Seven intentions that we're going to plant today.

And this is going to set you up for a wonderful day.

So the first intention,

And you can just let these words wash over you,

Let them settle in.

First intention.

I move with the flow of life today.

Dancing between my plans,

My to-do list,

And life's surprises.

So in that way you're remaining open,

There's a flexibility.

The second intention is that in moments of rush and frustration,

Which invariably come,

I choose patience.

Third intention.

I'm open to stepping out of my comfort zone today.

I'm open to growing,

To seeing what's out there.

Try something different,

Be open to different ideas.

Because I'm growing,

I'm open to growth.

Fourth intention.

I carry myself with love today.

Not because I'm perfect,

But because I am me.

And my worth isn't measured by others' opinions.

Whether you've internalised that yet or not,

But carry yourself with love.

Fifth intention,

Really important this one.

Today I nourish my body with water,

Wholesome food,

Movement that I enjoy,

And rest when rest is needed.

So,

So,

So important.

Sixth intention.

I will brighten each interaction with my presence.

I will be there today.

My smiles will be genuine,

I will make eye contact,

Because honestly the greatest gift we can give people is our presence.

And our final intention for today,

The seventh intention,

My words create ripples in the world,

My actions create ripples in the world,

And we want them to be positive.

So today,

My words and actions will be about positivity,

Connection,

Understanding,

And spreading a bit more light.

So the guidance ends there,

But feel free to rest for a while and linger in this space of possibility for a new day.

And when you're ready,

You can greet the new day,

Taking in the colours around you,

The morning sounds,

Perhaps any scents.

You know,

We were talking about presence,

So noticing,

Noticing,

Noticing,

Noticing.

And if you're new to morning practice or you haven't done morning practice for a while,

Stick with it for 10 days and see how things transform.

May this day surprise and delight you.

May you be well.

May you live with ease.

And may you know that you are loved.

And thank you so,
