Life really is a wild ride,
Oof,
So many thoughts,
Feelings,
Striving,
Plotting and planning,
Doing,
Going,
Coming,
Trying,
Always trying to work it all out,
And then there's the questions,
So many questions,
Why am I here,
What's my place,
What's my purpose,
Why are they like that,
What on earth is happening,
Why is this happening,
What should I do about it,
What should I say,
What will they say,
What patterns am I repeating that I need to let go of,
How do I let go,
How do I let go,
How do I let go,
It's time to let go,
We need to let go,
If only for a little while,
It's time to float,
Bring to mind a beautiful garden,
The most beautiful garden you can imagine,
It's a summer's evening and you feel the gentle warmth on your skin,
In the air you catch the faint scent of freshly cut grass and jasmine in bloom,
Ah you're barefoot on the soft grass,
Ah and you feel a sense of very deep real contentment,
There's a soft and gentle breeze and you can hear the leaves rustling in the trees overhead,
There's a beautiful pool in the garden,
Beautifully tiled and surrounded by lush plants,
There's no one else around and you decide to dip your feet in the water,
You sit down at the edge of the pool and feel the warm water soothe your legs and feet,
You decide to take a dip and feel quite comfortable swimming in your underwear,
You lower yourself gently into the pool and feel the warm water welcome you,
You can stand up comfortably in the pool,
The depth is just right for you,
Your body starts to relax,
Your body starts to release,
You start to let go,
You push away from the edge of the pool lying on your back in the water,
You let the water carry you,
Let the water hold you,
Trust,
Relax your arms,
Release any tension in your arms,
Relax your legs,
Breathe slowly and deeply into that knot in your stomach that doesn't trust,
Breathe slowly and deeply into that knot in your stomach that is sure you'll sink,
Because you won't,
You'll float,
I promise,
You'll float,
The sweet release,
The sweet relief gently moves through you as you float,
As you float,
The water is holding you,
The water is carrying you,
You're free,
Floating free,
Floating,
Letting go,
Floating,
Loved,
Floating,
Floating,
Free,
So free,
What a wonderful,
Wonderful break,
Floating,
Letting go,
Floating,
Loved,
Floating,
Free,
Heart and mind free,
Floating,
Letting go,
Very slowly swim back to the pool steps feeling a deep calm,
You climb out of the pool and sit on the soft grass to dry off in the warm evening sun,
May you be well,
May you live with ease and may you be happy,
Very,
Very slowly coming back to the present and to the space around you,
To the surface you're resting on,
To the surface you're resting on,
And thank you so much for practicing with me today.
