Let's sit together.
Something has happened and it really,
Really hurts.
It might have been building for a while or have happened suddenly It hurts your body.
It hurts your mind or your mind feels fuzzy.
Your guts are in a mess.
It hurts.
I see you and I am here.
The practice is to sit with it.
Knowing that with time and love it will change and it will soften settling,
Arriving.
Held and loved in this moment.
I'm here and there are people who love you.
That are also here for you.
Please know you are loved.
The practice is to sit with the hurt and the pain.
And the turmoil.
Knowing that with time and love it will change and it will soften.
The urge is to push it away,
To block it out.
The urge is to numb it and that urge is so strong,
I do understand.
But the practice is to sit with it as far as possible.
Knowing that with time and with love it will change and it will soften The practice is.
To sit with it and to notice the breath and to notice that the body is supported.
In this moment.
The practice is not to seek to cover over,
Minimize or hide.
The practice is to sit with it.
Noticing the breath.
Noticing the sensations in the body and noticing how your heart feels.
Whatever it is in this moment practice is to sit with it.
Knowing that with time and with love It will change and it will soften.
The practice is reminding yourself that you have experienced pain and suffering before.
And the practice is to remind yourself that you did not think you would make it and yet you're still here.
The practice is to sit with it.
And to allow the water to settle.
To create enough space.
So that what you truly need in this moment comes to the surface you might need some help from a loved one or a professional.
You might need some more compassion from yourself you might need to make a change Or you might just need to give it time.
What you need will come when you sit with it.
When you allow yourself to feel what you're feeling.
The practice is to sit with it.
Knowing that with time and love it will change and it will soften.
May you feel safe May you touch peace.
May you ask for help when you need it and may you know how loved you are.
May you feel safe May you touch peace.
May you ask for help when you need it.
And may you know how loved you are.
And thank you so,
So much for practicing with me today.
