This EFT tapping meditation cultivates an appreciative,

Loving,

And caring relationship to our body and helps us release critical or destructive attitudes about our body.

Begin by finding a comfortable seat now and allow your eyes to close.

Take a deep breath in and a long open mouth exhale.

Allow yourself to land in this space right here,

Right now.

Feel the pressure of where your body is touching the support below it.

And take another deep inhale and on a long exhale allow your body to rest into that support a little bit more.

And just take a moment to notice the feeling of breath in your belly,

In your ribs.

Allow your breath to deepen,

Perhaps another long open mouth exhale.

I will be guiding you through gently tapping on various parts of your hands and face.

And all you need to do is simply follow along and repeat what I say either out loud or in your head.

Before we start,

Simply acknowledge the thoughts and feelings of body criticism,

Shame,

Or rejection you're experiencing.

Scan your body now and take note of where you are feeling any negative thoughts in your body,

Perhaps a tightness of the throat or the belly or the chest or shoulders.

Simply noting.

Scale now how strong these feelings and sensations are between a one and a ten,

Ten being the strongest.

We'll begin now gently tapping the side of the hand near the pinky finger,

The karate chop point,

Repeating after me.

Even though I feel negative about my body,

I am open to deeply loving,

Accepting,

And supporting myself anyway.

Even though I feel critical of my body,

I can still love,

Accept,

And forgive myself anyway.

Even though I feel negative about my body,

I am choosing right now to give myself love,

Acceptance,

And forgiveness.

Tapping the top of the head,

All these negative thoughts about my body.

Tapping the inner eyebrow point,

The space between the eyebrows,

All this self-criticism.

Tapping the side of the eye near the temple,

I feel so uncomfortable in my skin.

Tapping below the eye,

I feel negative about my body.

Tapping below the nose,

I've felt this way for so long.

Tapping the chin,

But even though I feel this way now,

I'm open to feeling differently about myself.

Take both hands and tap the chest just below the collarbones.

I am ready to feel differently about my body and self.

I am ready to feel love and acceptance and forgiveness.

I am ready to let go of this disdain for my body and feel love,

Appreciation,

And acceptance.

Tapping the side of the hand,

Even though I have felt negative about my body,

I am open to changing this relationship with my body.

Tapping the top of the head,

I change this relationship with love,

Acceptance,

And forgiveness.

Tapping the inner eyebrow point,

I forgive myself for all the self-criticism.

Tapping the outer eyebrow point,

I am open to accepting my body as it is.

Tapping below the eye,

I am so grateful to have a body that carries me through this life.

Tapping below the nose,

I am so grateful for all my body does to keep me alive.

Tapping the chin,

I forgive all the ways my body has struggled.

It's okay.

I know my body is doing its best.

Tapping the chest just below the collarbones,

I am choosing to support and appreciate my body now.

I am so grateful for all the wonderful things I get to experience through my body.

Thank you,

Body,

For carrying me through this life.

Thank you,

Body,

For being a vessel for my spirit.

Tapping the side of the hand,

Thank you,

Body,

For all you do.

Tapping the top of the head,

Thank you,

Hands,

For all the work you do.

For all that you create.

For all the ways you touch and connect.

Tapping the inner eyebrow.

Thank you,

Eyes,

For helping me see the world around me.

Tapping the side of the eye,

Thank you,

Face,

For all of your expression.

Tapping below the eye.

Thank you,

Body,

For all the ways you help me express.

Tapping below the nose.

Thank you,

Lips,

For helping me communicate.

Tapping the chin.

Thank you,

Mouth,

For supporting,

Nourishing me.

Tapping the collarbone points.

Thank you,

Lungs,

For every breath of life you take.

Thank you,

Heart,

For pumping life and love through me.

Thank you,

Body,

For being a vessel for my spirit.

Tapping the side of the hand again.

Even though I have felt negative about my body,

I am open to changing this relationship.

Tapping the top of the head.

I forgive myself for all the self-criticism.

Tapping the inner eyebrow point.

I'm open to accepting and loving my body as it is.

Tapping the side of the eye.

I am so grateful to have a body that carries me through this life.

Tapping below the eye.

I am ready to love and support my body now.

Tapping below the nose.

I forgive all the ways my body has struggled.

Tapping the chin.

I am supporting my body now with compassion and love and nurturing.

Collarbone points.

I am letting go of self-criticism and judgment.

I am letting go of negative cultural beliefs about my body.

I see my body as a divine vessel for my spirit.

Tapping the side of the hand.

I know I am more than my body.

I know I am my eternal spirit and essence.

Tapping the top of the head.

Thank you body for carrying my spirit through this life.

Tapping the inner eyebrow.

Thank you for being a divine vessel for my spirit.

Side of the eye.

I choose to remember the divine nature of my body.

Below the eye.

I forgive myself for all the times I have forgotten this divine nature.

Below the nose.

I am remembering now.

Chin.

In the eyes of the universe,

All is forgiven.

All is loved.

All is accepted.

Tapping the chest.

I am forgiven.

I am loved.

I am accepted.

I choose to deeply love and accept this divine vessel.

I am so grateful for my body.

Resting both hands now over the heart and taking three deep breaths into your heart.

Imagine breathing in a white light of love from the crown of your head into every single cell in your brain.

Let that white light move across your face into your throat.

The light of love and appreciation moving down your shoulders and arms.

Breathe this white light into your lungs and chest,

Your belly and hips.

Love and appreciation moving through your thighs all the way down your legs.

Down into your feet.

Feel your whole body radiating now with a light of love and appreciation.

Of knowing your body as a divine vessel for your beautiful spirit.

Carry this appreciation of your body with you now as you walk through the world.

May you breathe it in with each step.

Take a moment now to simply scan your body again and noticing the sensations around the self-criticism.

Scaling them once again between one and ten and acknowledging the shift in the emotional state that has arisen from this practice.
