Reverse Bucket List Gratitude Meditation
It's not actual things or money or relationships we want, it's the feeling we hope to get from them that we want. But, chasing after something or someone in the future to get the feeling you desire can be a bottomless trap that keeps the mind focused on what's lacking and us feeling less than. Instead, start appreciating all that you already have that supports the way you want to feel. I like to call this the reverse bucket list meditation. Rather than making a bucket list for all things you want in the future, we’re making a bucket list of all thing things you’re grateful for experiencing and having already. You can do this as an eyes closed meditation, a journal practice or just sit and contemplate your gratitudes.
