I want to introduce you to a reconnection exercise and this is really good for when you are feeling offline,

Not quite here,

Scattered,

Energetically wonky.

This is a practice that you can come back to as many times as you like throughout the day in a shorter version than this.

I'm going to do a little bit longer one though so that you can get the whole sense of it.

So start out by dropping all expectations you have for yourself.

This is crucial.

All expectations you have for yourself about how you should do this exercise or how you will feel while doing it or how you will feel after doing it.

You may feel different,

You may not feel different.

That's okay.

And you might also drop all expectations about what an energy exercise,

Practice,

Etc.

Is.

There is no right or wrong here.

You won't be graded.

There's nothing to improve upon.

This is an intuitive practice that is natural to you.

You're just remembering.

So don't worry about it.

Just soften into it.

Next you want to set aside whatever you've been doing,

Thinking,

Ruminating on,

Feeling just for a few minutes.

They will be here later when you return if you want them.

You can also leave them.

But imagine kind of a library in your mind or a bookshelf.

And you're walking up to that bookshelf and you are putting up files or books and they have labels like,

Worried about blank,

The future,

Later today.

Whatever your concerns are,

You can see those labels on the spines of these books and just softly gently set them down.

Now we're ready to begin.

So let's start with the bottoms of your feet.

You can feel them on the floor.

What is the texture?

The temperature of the floor?

Is it cool?

Is it warm?

Is it soft?

Is it hard?

You're just orienting to the undersides of your feet,

Also known as the bottoms of your feet.

So feel the ground beneath your feet,

Which goes deeper than the floor maybe.

You now notice there is an underneath.

And underneath is the energy consciousness we call Earth.

It's a whole network of intelligent divine consciousness going on underneath our feet 24 seven,

Quietly doing wonderful things like cleaning and clearing and growing and healing and recycling.

So feel that energy of Earth.

And you might feel calm when you feel down there.

Maybe like a humming or a contentment,

A sense of feeling safe.

You might even smile.

And it's okay to smile.

You can allow yourself to smile slightly.

This is exactly how Earth energy feels.

Now imagine this energy coming up through the bottoms of your feet into your ankles and inside your calves.

Ask Earth energy if it will show you how to ground,

Which is to say allow the subtle energy of calm travel upwards through your calves,

Knees,

Into your thighs,

Where the energy or presence,

If that's a better word for you,

It pools and expands your thighs,

Which are touching a chair.

And now notice you are inside your body.

You're inside your own skin.

And there you might notice too that you have muscles and bones inside here.

And there's stuff.

There's a density.

There's a gravity,

Maybe a heaviness,

But you're feeling yourself from the inside.

And now feel into your hips.

Let the energy kind of continue its path upwards,

Traveling upwards,

And your hips into your sits bones and where the seat meets these bones,

Where your bottom rests comfortably on your chair.

If you're not comfortable,

See if you can nestle your bottom into your seat a little bit more,

Kind of like a cat settling into its little bed.

If you need to adjust,

You can at any point.

And bring your presence to your pelvic bowl,

This inside area.

Notice how it feels like a bowl.

There's kind of a spherical quality to this part of your body that contains your reproductive organs and your digestive organs.

And these are all here.

And now you're inside here noticing your ovaries,

Your stomach,

Your kidneys.

And just allow that energy to kind of billow and pool a little bit and see if it can expand if it wants,

Because this is a very special area.

It may expand beyond your little pelvic bowl into a vast or more vast space.

This is the seat of our knowing.

The seat of our soul is right here in your root.

So a lot is going on here,

And if there's any congestion,

Just butterflies or tension or uncertainty,

Just notice it.

Release it if you choose,

Give it permission to slide away.

As you move your awareness upwards,

You're in your solar plexus and your diaphragm into the back of your spine,

Straight through front to back.

Feel the front,

Maybe your rib cage,

And then how underneath that,

Your lungs,

And then the front of your spine,

And then the back of your spine.

And you can go from front to back,

And there's a space inside.

Just allow the energy or your presence to travel a natural path upwards in a way that feels smooth and organic for you.

If it meets any solidity or tension,

Maybe around the heart,

Just allow it to release or simply let it be.

Even our acknowledgement of tension is enough,

And the more we try and do something about any tension,

The less relief we experience.

So this is a good point,

A good place and time to remind ourselves that there is no one we need to be right now,

Nothing we need to do,

Nowhere we need to go,

Nothing to prove.

And this is perfect for you are in your center,

This area around your heart,

Inside your chest.

And when we are in our center,

We are totally right here.

And when we are not in our center,

We're focused on getting something done or the future,

Moving forward.

So let's just be here.

So continuing to move up any tightness you experience in your shoulders or in your neck,

Just release that down your arms,

Natural flow of energy traveling down your upper arms,

Lower arms,

Hands,

Fingertips,

And out through your fingertips.

And then back to your front of your neck,

Your throat,

Back of your throat,

Back of your head,

Your jaw,

Sinuses,

Brain,

And to the top of your head at your crown chakra,

Opening to connecting with divine consciousness through the crown chakra.

In reality,

We're connected to divine consciousness from everywhere.

And we've been connecting with that divine consciousness through the ground up.

So let's bring that awareness right now that we have earned.

We have traced an entire pathway of presence through our inner energy body and feel that sense of integration from the very bottom,

Bottom of your feet,

The earth,

Up through to the top,

The crown,

And everything in between.

And now take like a ball of light and open to bringing that ball of light like a gentle waterfall down through the top of your head and allow it to retrace all the pathways that you've just traveled.

Around your chest and your arms,

Your diaphragm,

Your pelvic bowl,

Your root,

Your thighs,

Your knees,

Your calves,

Ankles,

Top of your feet,

Toes,

Bottom of your feet,

Down into the earth.

And take a moment to recognize that this is what connection actually feels like in your body.

This is how it feels when you are easily able to see reality clearly and see your perceptions clearly.

This is how it feels in your body when you are connected to your wisdom and you will receive intuition and guidance from this inward,

Connected,

Warm,

Good space.

And this is how it feels to be in your body when you feel safe,

When you feel grounded,

When you feel loved because you are love,

And when you feel good because you are good.

So I hope you've enjoyed this energy reconnection exercise.

Connected and reconnected to yourself throughout your day.
