Hello and welcome to today's meditation.
Today we are looking at transforming any and all negative thoughts that we may have.
So when you're ready,
Find your comfortable meditation position.
Whether that be seated or lying down,
I want you to bring your awareness to your posture.
Allow the back to straighten as much as you comfortably can.
Ensure the shoulders are relaxed,
Bring them down the spine and allow the heart space to open.
Chest wide,
Open and ready to receive.
Gently allow yourself to settle into this space,
Letting go of any tension in the body.
Now when you're ready,
Take a nice deep breath in through the nose and as you exhale through the mouth,
Release any stress or worries from your day.
Allow the breath to find its natural rhythm,
Steady and calm and let everything slow down.
As you continue to breathe deeply,
Bring your focus to your heart space.
This is the centre of your being,
Where all positivity and light reside.
Now begin to visualise a warm golden light within your heart space.
See that light radiating outwards with each breath.
This light represents your innate positivity,
Your ability to see the good in every situation.
Take a deep breath in,
Filling your heart space with this golden light.
And as you exhale,
Allow the light to expand to fill your entire body with warmth and positivity.
Now take a moment to gently bring to mind a situation or challenge you've recently faced.
Notice any negative thoughts or feelings that may have arisen at the time and anything that comes up now you're revisiting the situation.
With your next breath,
Invite the golden light to surround these thoughts.
Transform them into opportunities for growth and positivity.
What did we take from this challenge?
What did we learn about ourselves?
How can we change the narrative of what was once a negative situation?
Allow yourself around 20 seconds here to just reflect.
Come back to the breath and as you continue to breathe,
Silently repeat to yourself,
I choose positivity.
I see the good in every situation.
I am open to the lessons that life offers me.
Feel the shift in your energy as these affirmations resonate with you.
Notice how your perspective begins to change,
Allowing positivity to guide your thoughts and actions.
Now join me to take a deep moment of reflection.
Look at how a positive attitude can completely transform your day,
Your interactions,
And not only that,
Your life.
Imagine yourself approaching each and every moment with a mindset of gratitude,
Optimism and resilience.
Now when you're ready,
Allow yourself to take a deep breath in and as you exhale,
Allow a sense of peace and positivity to fill your entire being.
Visualize that warm glowing light from the heart center spreading through the body and glowing out into the world.
Know that you have the power to choose your attitude in every moment to see the beauty in life and to embrace the lessons that come your way.
Now gently sink back into the breath for this final moment of music.
Allow yourself to feel the radiation of the positive energy.
Feel the light coming from within and just sit with that feeling.
As you begin to bring your awareness back to the present moment,
Back to the body,
Back to the mind,
Carry this sense of positivity with you.
Let it color your thoughts,
Your words and your actions throughout each and every day.
Together let's take one final deep inhale and as you exhale,
Allow a gentle smile to form on the face.
You are ready to face the day with a positive attitude and an open heart.
