Hello and welcome to today's meditation.
Today our focus is on creating confidence from within,
Allowing ourselves to go into situations where we can really put ourselves out there.
So get yourself comfortable,
Whether you're seated or standing,
Feel the ground supporting beneath you.
Allow yourself to take a moment and settle into the body.
Let the shoulders soften and draw down your spine.
Unclench the jaw and relax the face.
And just allow yourself to feel the presence of the moment wherever you are and begin to relax.
Allow the breath to soften and gently begin with an inhale through the nose and a gentle breath out of the mouth.
Find the softness in the breath and allow the body to settle.
As you inhale,
Inhale softness and as you exhale,
Exhale all tension.
Beautiful.
Now putting yourself out there,
It's not about forcing confidence or pretending that you're fearless.
It's about remembering exactly who you are,
Returning to your center and letting the world feel your presence.
Right here,
Right now,
You are safe to expand.
You are safe to take up space and you are safe to be seen.
With me,
Take another deep breath in through the nose and let it all out slowly from the mouth.
Now bring a gentle awareness to your chest,
Your heart space,
The center of your being.
Imagine a warm,
Steady glow right there.
Nothing loud or dramatic,
Just a quiet strength from within.
That right there is your confidence.
It's not ego,
It's not a performance,
It's just you.
Rooted,
Real and open.
Right there from your heart space.
With gentle awareness,
Move through that space.
With each inhale,
A reminder that you belong here.
And with each exhale,
A release of all old doubts,
Old stories and old limitations.
When you're allowing yourself to put yourself out there,
Sometimes voices can arise.
What if I'm judged?
What if I'm not enough?
What if I fail?
And that is okay.
You're human.
But you don't let those thoughts define you.
They're just echoes of an old protection mechanism that we no longer need today.
Because today we're choosing expansion over fear.
We're choosing curiosity over self-doubt.
And we are choosing courage over comfort.
Join me in this space with some affirmations.
You can gently repeat within the mind or out loud if this feels good for you.
I am learning to trust myself.
I am allowed to be seen for who I truly am.
I bring value by simply being myself.
I show up with courage,
Not perfection.
Feel how those words land in your body.
Notice the warmth,
The softening,
The spark that might be waking up inside of you.
Now visualize a version of you walking into whatever moment lies ahead.
A social event,
A meeting,
A new beginning,
A new opportunity.
Any time that you want to put yourself out there.
In these moments you're not trying to impress anyone.
You're not shrinking yourself.
You're just grounded,
Calm and open.
Your breath is steady,
Your body feels present and you are rooted in who you truly are.
Allowing that light to glow from your heart space.
Every powerful moment in your life has happened because you chose to show up.
You chose to put yourself out there and you're doing that again now.
You're allowing yourself to feel confidence from within.
Now with me place one hand on your heart space and feel that light,
That warmth radiating.
Now whisper to yourself gently like a promise.
I am ready to be seen.
I am ready to grow.
I trust myself.
Take a long deep breath in and just easily let it out.
You don't have to feel perfect to begin.
You just need to begin and the confidence will always build from there.
One breath,
One moment,
One brave step at a time is all it takes.
When you're ready to come out of this space,
Gently allow the eyes to blink open and take this feeling of grounded,
Rooted confidence into the world with you,
Into that next time that you put yourself out there.
