The intention of this meditation is to create the space for calm,
Peace,
And presence,
So you can show up as your greatest self any moment of your life.
Let's sit comfortably.
You can use a cushion or chair.
Just make sure you're comfortable.
With the back upright,
Shoulders relaxed,
Relax the face,
The jaw,
Settle and relax.
Gently close the eyes.
Now let's take a few deep breaths together.
Breathe in,
Fully filling the lungs on the inward breath and breathe out,
Fully emptying the lungs on the outward breath.
Breathe in deeply.
Breathe out,
Elongating the exhale.
A deep breath in and a long extended exhale.
Notice how your body relaxes on the outward breath.
Now allow your breath to be normal and natural,
However it is.
Come into deep listening of the music,
Surrendering to the music.
Anytime your thoughts wander or you get distracted,
Just come back to the music.
Deep listening.
Now let's take a few deep breaths together.
Imagine a beautiful lake.
The surface of the water is calm.
The water is still.
The lake is a wonderful metaphor for the mind.
Imagine throwing a small pebble into the water,
Watching the ripples cast out in all directions.
Each pebble is like a thought.
A thought rippling out in all directions.
And just as the ripples of the water eventually dissolve,
So too do the ripples of our thoughts slowly dissolve.
Each pebble,
Like each thought,
Ripples and dissolves.
We observe each thought in our mind as it comes and goes.
Without judgment,
Just observing.
Through witness to the thoughts.
The pebbles being tossed in the water one by one,
Each pebble creating its own ripple.
Swelling from the water and dissolving back into the lake,
Rising and falling.
The pebbles slow down until the water becomes crystal clear.
So too with the mind,
The thoughts slowing down,
Dissipating,
Easing.
Until the mind becomes clear,
Calm.
As the mind stills,
Calms,
A perfect reflection emerges.
A perfect reflection of your self.
Fully there for you to see.
Fully there for you to observe.
Fully here,
Now.
Deep listening to everything that's there.
Always coming back to the music.
A profound stillness.
A profound quietude.
A profound calm is always available.
Stillness.

Let's imagine what it would be like to access this state of peace and calm in any moment.
To truly be this calm,
This peace,
This presence.
What would it feel like?
What would your life be like?
Notice the emotions,
Thoughts,
Resistance and acceptance.
Whatever you may be experiencing,
Just allow it.
Allow it.
Now,
Keeping the eyes closed,
Let's bring our attention to the body.
Allowing any sensations in the body to settle down.
Whenever you're ready,
Whenever you're comfortable,
Let's slowly open the eyes.
Coming back to our surroundings.
Bringing any movement to the body that feels right.
Your state is always your choice.
We find the freedom to respond to any given situation from this place,
As our greatest and truest selves.
