Emma JM. Ates

Emma J.M. Ates is a registered psychotherapist, contemplative creative therapist, art therapist and founder of The Lojong Center for Contemplative Creative Science. Her work bridges contemplative wisdom traditions and Western psychology, integrating meditation, contemplative psychology, and creative practice to support emotional resilience, embodied presence, and ethical awareness. Her meditations are inspired by the Eight Levels of Embodied Mind Training within Contemplative Creative Therapy — a developmental approach that gently guides practitioners from grounding and emotional regulation toward deeper insight, relational awareness, and interdependence. Each offering invites a gradual familiarization with attention, compassion, creativity, and embodied wisdom. Through meditation, she offers gentle spaces to breathe, reconnect, and remember our shared humanity — and the living interdependence that connects us with one another, the Earth, and all beings. The Lojong Center for Contemplative Creative Science provides comprehensive, holistic professional and personal training in Buddhist-informed contemplative creative therapy and related specializations.
