It's time to relax to let go of the day.
So get comfortable wherever you are.
You can lie down in bed.
Or you can sit.
Then allow the eyes to close The day is over.
It's time to rest.
To wind down.
To prepare for sleep.
And imagine over a calm ocean.
A large Son.
Just setting The light is fading.
It's just a warm.
.
.
Orange glow spread in across the land.
The sea is calm.
And it reflects the orange glow of the sun.
And begin to breathe in the sun now as if the chest is porous.
So you're breathing right into the heart centre warm amber light.
Soft Relaxing Every breath.
You breathe in this.
Cold and warm.
Into the chest and with every out breath you let go of the day.
In the light.
The soft golden light begins to light up the whole body with warmth Easing out.
Any aches and pains.
As the light hits muscles.
They melt like honey.
Allow that to spread.
That golden warmth.
Through the whole body.
Softening Healing.
Everything it touches.
And seeing if you can feel a sense of gratitude for the sun.
It gives.
Life.
In its light and warmth and ask for nothing in return.
Hafiz in one of his poems.
Talks about gratitude.
He says,
Even after all this time.
The sun never says to the earth.
You owe me.
Look what happens with a love like that.
It lights the whole sky.
And now is the sun.
Descends even further.
Catch the last few rays on the top of your head still warm Soft golden light feeling whatever you can feel on the top of your head.
Tingling.
The warmth of the sun.
Whatever's here on the top of your head.
And let that warmth seep.
Into the head.
Relaxing the brain.
All the way through.
Like soft,
Warm,
Golden honey Down the forehead.
The sides of the head.
Peace.
The eyes.
Feeling that warm sun Slowly move down the body into the jaw.
The throat.
And the back of the neck.
Down into the shoulders.
In that warm golden sunlight.
Seeping into any muscles that need release and warn and then down both arms The upper arms.
The lower arms in the hands.
Into the fingers Every joint.
Of the fingers being soothed relaxing letting go and sweep your attention up into the chest feeling that warm sunlight as its dulling and just becoming a glow.
A warm amber glow.
Feeling that in the chest The Heart Center.
The sides of the ribs the upper back.
And under the shoulder blades That warmth,
Softening,
Any tensions down into the middle back the lower back.
Softening like melting honey.
Soothing.
And he aches and pains Healing.
Then round into the belly This warm amber light.
Like fire embers Just glowing.
Softening the belly then down into the buttocks the thighs.
That last bit of sunlight tracing down the thighs softening allowing muscle and bone to separate.
The day of being.
On our feet,
It is over.
We can retire into.
.
.
Well deserved rest.
Then down into the knees.
The shins and the calves the ankles.
The tops defeat.
And the tops of the toes the tips of the toes.
The undersides of the toes the balls of defeat.
The Archers.
In the hills.
And the sun now slips down fully below the horizon and all that's left.
There's a warm orange light just on the edge.
Of the horizon The sun's day is done.
And so is yours.
When you're ready.
You can move ever so gently And either.
Open your eyes and Make your way to bed.
Or fall asleep if you're already there.
Rest well.
