Sit in no special way.

And keep your eyes open for this practice.

Look with your eyes.

And see.

Just see.

Relax if you wish.

But there is no need whatsoever.

Be what you already are.

If your shoulders soften.

If your breath rises like a gentle tide.

If your fingers just fall open.

Let them.

Let what wants to be,

Be.

Ask yourself the question.

Who am I?

Who am I?

Allow the question to rise.

Naturally.

Like mist at dawn.

Am I this breath?

This name?

These thoughts that pass like clouds.

Am I the shape that looks back at me from the mirror?

Light falling across a face I've worn so long.

And even when I close my eyes.

Even when I am completely numb.

Something remains.

Not the image.

Not the voice.

Not these feelings that are here now.

Just this.

Don't look for an answer.

There is no answer to the question.

Who am I?

If an answer begins to form.

Know this only comes from that which you are not.

Who am I?

The truth is revealed here.

Now.

In this very silence.

Don't listen for it.

It cannot be heard.

The silence is the truth.

Not that which comes from it.

Not that which leaves it to form a false life all by itself.

Be this soft watcher.

Absolute silence.

Beneath thought and memory.

Beneath becoming anything.

Who am I?

What if I don't need to know?

What if all the rest in the world lies in not knowing?

In not wanting to know more than this.

This that's here now.

And this question,

Who am I?

It's not a riddle to be solved.

But a door to fall through.

Ask again.

Softly.

Who am I?

Let it open you.

Let it unravel you.

Who are you?

And the story fades.

And silence begins to speak.

That was a roller coaster of a track for me. I will have to revisit this a few times I think. Very enjoyable. Thank you Chris ✨️
