Beneath the stream of thoughts, there is a stillness, a quiet space that’s always here, waiting. In this meditation, Christopher guides you to rest within that space, allowing the mind to soften and thoughts to gently fade into silence. As you settle into awareness itself, you may begin to sense the peace that doesn’t come and go — the quiet between thoughts, steady and ever-present within you.

Come into a seated posture,

Relax and as you sit here,

Notice your thoughts coming and going,

They arise,

Change and then fade away,

Watch them,

Don't think the thoughts,

Watch them,

Watch them work all by themselves,

Become an external observer of the thoughts and can you see that between the thoughts is a gap,

A space,

Listen for it,

The quiet between thoughts,

Rest in that silence,

Even for a moment,

Like the stillness between waves,

It's always here,

And return to that quiet,

Again and again and let it hold you.

And when you're ready,

Allow the eyes to open,

And as you go about your day,

See if you can notice your thinking,

And if you notice it for long enough,

The mind may begin to settle.

And you might just get a glimpse of the quiet between thoughts.

It’s beautiful to work on the way thoughts are formed and to explore the space around them. Realizing that we are merely the observers is deeply liberating. Thank you Chris for taking us there...🙏🙏🙏
