Welcome to this visualization meditation of connecting with your highest self.
For this practice,
If you'd like,
You can have a journal near you to write down the experience,
Your observation and insight.
At the end of the meditation,
I will offer some possible questions you could explore and write about.
Okay,
I invite you now to get into a comfortable sitting position and if it feels comfortable,
Close your eyes.
Keep your back straight to invite wakefulness and relax your shoulders,
Your jaw,
Forehead,
Anything that might feel tense at the moment,
So that you invite relaxation and openness.
So let's begin by taking a couple of deep,
Intentional and cleansing breaths.
Breathe deeply into your belly and hold your breath for a moment at the top and then slowly,
Deliberately exhale.
You can inhale now gently,
If possible through your nose.
Hold the breath at the top for just a moment and exhale,
Sighing out.
Repeat this as many times as you feel like you need to.
Amazing,
Allow your breath to flow naturally now.
Let go of control or any opinions about how your breath should sound like,
What rhythm it should be.
Slowly allow it to be as it is and now if it's possible,
Slowly allow for your dream life to appear as a thought.
Visualize your ideal self living the dream life.
You are doing the thing you really want to be doing.
You are being the way you've deep down always wanted to be.
You are free to be your true highest self.
The future you want is now a reality.
So fully immerse yourself in this visualization.
Engage all your senses,
If that's possible.
Notice the colors,
The sounds,
The smells.
Are the colors around you vibrant or are they soft?
What sounds are you hearing?
Can you hear your own voice?
And what does it sound like?
Are there any smells present?
What's the temperature?
Notice the weather.
Notice the clothes you're wearing.
Think of every little detail.
Anything you want,
It's here.
You are your ideal self.
So where are you and who else is there?
Is there something in your environment that stands out?
What are you doing and how are you behaving?
What words would you use to describe yourself?
What does your body language say?
How are you interacting with others?
What is your energy like?
How did your skills evolve?
What do you now hold to be true?
What are you prioritizing?
What are you choosing to believe?
And is it different than from before?
How is this impacting those around you?
Who are you?
How do you see yourself now?
What's new?
And how does this serve you?
What purpose is it fulfilling?
Beautiful.
Now you can slowly become aware of your surroundings,
Of your body,
Any sensations you might be feeling.
Maybe you'd like to stretch in any way that feels comfortable.
And when you're ready,
You can gently open your eyes.
And now you can head to your journal and write about what you noticed during the meditation.
How did this exercise land with you?
How does it feel in your body?
Can you see yourself already being this person?
What do you feel called to do today to bring yourself closer to that version?
Spend at least 10 to 15 minutes writing down your experience and your reflection on visualizing your highest self.
