Welcome to practice.
My name is Neil Seligman,
Founder of The Conscious Professional.
Thank you for joining me today for this guided practice for tapping into mindful inspiration.
Begin by finding a comfortable posture and by bringing your awareness to your breath.
Take a few moments to let yourself arrive and allow the breath to draw you gently into internal awareness.
Allow the gaze to soften and if suitable for your surroundings,
The eyes to close.
Bring your attention to the next inhale,
Allowing the full force of your curiosity to examine this breathing body.
Feeling the sensations of the in-breath and the out-breath.
Giving yourself permission to arrive,
To land,
To be present.
Notice the feet on the floor,
The point of connection between the body and the ground.
Realizing that sense of being held and supported and met in this moment.
Feeling the weight of the body pushing you down into your seat.
Reminding yourself of the physicality of this breathing body.
As if breathing with every cell of the body,
Every organ,
Every body part.
Connecting with your physiology,
Embodying the life,
The vibration of aliveness that animates,
That inspires,
That connects,
That opens,
That heals.
And as we settle,
Just as we are welcoming ourselves to this practice and giving ourselves permission to really travel with our own practice,
This gift to ourselves,
These moments,
These spacious,
Precious moments.
And as the breath drops in,
Awareness drops in too.
Feeling for the horizon of your own awareness and opening beyond it.
Expanding through awareness into the fields of living life.
The fields of light,
Of creation.
The field of your potential.
The field of our awareness.
Breathing.
Connecting with whatever you find,
Bathing,
Soaking.
Breathing into the newness.
Noticing,
Listening,
Opening.
Staying with it.
Steady on the breath.
Just this,
Just this.
Receiving from the field.
What is arising?
What is being born here and perhaps just noticing?
Listening through the spaces,
Into the gaps.
Allowing the arising to arise.
And if you have a question to drop in,
Just dropping the question in when you're ready.
Into the field,
Into the light.
Listening and feeling into the silence.
And as we begin to draw the threads of our practice together,
Asking yourself what new discoveries you have made.
Sometimes there's something and sometimes there's nothing,
Both are interesting.
Breathing with the harvest of your practice.
Coming back to the sensations of sitting.
Opening to the sounds in the room around you.
And in your very own time,
Allowing your eyes to reopen.
Thank you for joining me in practice today.
