Thank you for joining me today for this guided global connection meditation.
Begin by finding a comfortable posture and by bringing your awareness to the breath.
Take a few moments to let yourself arrive and allow the breath to draw you gently into internal awareness.
Allow the gaze to soften and if suitable for your surroundings,
The eyes to close.
Breathe.
Welcoming the breath into the body.
Listening to the sounds of the breath as it journeys through the body.
Feeling the physical sensations of the breath.
The temperature of the breath,
The pressure of the breath,
The velocity of the breath.
Breathing with every cell,
With every organ,
With every body part.
Inviting a connection with the body beyond your knowing on the breath.
As you welcome the breath into the body,
Welcoming the body into awareness.
Inviting mind,
Deeply connective mind,
Wise mind,
Big mind,
Open mind.
Awareness falling within.
Welcoming the fullness of who you are,
Your spirit,
Your being.
Noticing the interconnection of cells,
Organs,
Muscles.
Intraconnection into weaving.
And as we notice the incredible dynamic interplay of life occurring within the body.
We begin to notice how we exist in communion with our loved ones,
With our friends,
Our colleagues,
Our community,
Our neighbours.
Breathing with embodied awareness through the network,
Gifting our presence,
Gifting this frequency of presence.
Bringing into our awareness the country,
Our geography,
The globe,
This planet,
All living beings.
Noticing our place in this matrix of life where we breathe the same air,
Drink the same water,
Love with the same heart,
Touch with the same hands,
Feel through the same emotions.
And so we connect with all life in all worlds in all spaces through time.
Dropping into the eternal now.
Awareness falling within.
Awareness falling within.
Deeply connecting to self as in and of the whole.
Breathing.
Listening.
Opening into the silence.
Breathing the silence.
Nourishing ourselves in the silence.
Gifting the silence within and without.
Noticing the impact of silence in the body.
Perhaps asking yourself,
Who am I in this moment?
And as we begin to draw the threads of this practice together.
Perhaps just setting an intention.
Offering a prayer for this world.
Holding in compassionate,
Heartful awareness.
All beings in all spaces.
Releasing ourselves into the harmonic field of life.
Ever balanced,
Ever stable.
Coming back to the sensations of sitting.
Opening to the sounds in the room.
And in your very own time,
Allowing the eyes to reopen.
