This is a talk about loneliness. Naming feelings and allowing ourselves to feel them helps to diminish the suffering-power that a feelng holds. By naming it, we are able to introduce some space between us and the feeling. By naming it and allowing ourselves to feel the feeling, we release the shame, judgement, and isolation that could accompany the feeling and instead introduce a sense of normalcy, compassion, and a sense connection with others who have felt said feeling.
