Welcome to Meditation Tides with Michelle's Sanctuary.

You are listening to a meditation for your big day.

Let the soothing tides of this practice help you glide through this important day.

I am Michelle and you may think of me as a compassionate cheerleader and hype woman here to remind you of how capable and amazing you are.

You have learned many lessons since childhood but as we proceed remember that young part of you that once faced big days all the time.

Back then so many experiences were new and unfamiliar and you made it through every one of them.

You learn by doing.

You are no stranger to a big day ahead and life is giving you the chance to practice once more.

Even the most successful people by any measure or standard have overcome fear to pursue their paths.

You need not be fearless today but rather you may choose to be brave.

So get as comfortable as you can and take this time to ground yourself,

Quell your anxieties,

And soothe your nervous system.

Set your intention now and let it weave through the easy and hard moments of the day.

Turn your attention to your breath.

Remember you may take control of your breath at any point throughout this big day when you need to find peace.

You may step away for a moment.

For just a moment can change the flow of everything.

Inhale deeply through your nose,

Filling your lungs with positive energy and confidence.

Fill your chest and abdomen expand.

Now exhale slowly through your mouth,

Releasing any tension or doubts you may be carrying.

Inhale once again,

Envisioning yourself remaining calm and committed to your goals.

Exhale,

Letting go of any worries that might be holding you back.

One more time,

Breathe in deeply,

Sensing the strength and determination within you.

And exhale,

Letting go of any lingering stress.

As you continue to breathe gently,

I want you to imagine this big day as a river.

You are sitting by the riverbank,

Observing the day's events in rippling reflections.

Each moment arises and passes,

Giving in to the current of time.

You see yourself reflected on the water,

Remaining present,

Centered,

And focused on each task,

Each interaction,

And each opportunity that comes your way.

Feel yourself performing at your best,

Effortlessly,

Gracefully.

Picture yourself confidently navigating through challenges,

Making decisions with clarity,

And sharing your unique talents and voice with the world.

As you watch the day unfold on the river,

Embrace the feeling of accomplishment and pride that arises from within you.

Take a moment to acknowledge how good you feel,

Knowing that you've prioritized your emotional well-being and set a positive intention for the day.

You are able to self-soothe your nervous system and you approach each situation with a calm and centered mindset.

Focusing on the rippling waters,

You gently shift your focus to the end of the day.

Envision yourself comfortably settled in your bed,

A sense of satisfaction filling your heart,

Reflecting on the moments when you demonstrated courage and resilience,

When you pushed through any self-doubt and embraced your capabilities.

You've made it through another day,

Doing the best you could,

And that is truly something to celebrate.

You now see all the events of the day,

Forming a circle on the river,

Flowing in harmony.

As you align yourself with your intention,

You bring your awareness back to your breath.

As you inhale deeply,

Acknowledging your inner fortitude.

As you exhale slowly,

Letting go of any remaining tension,

You are ready to face your big day with confidence,

Grace,

And a brave heart.

Remember you are capable,

You are amazing,

And you have the power to make this day a success.

Thank yourself for taking this time to nurture your mind and spirit.

When you're ready,

Gently open your eyes and step forward into your day knowing that you have set a positive intention and that you are fully equipped to shine.
