We begin this meditation either lying down or sitting down with your feet on the floor or Indian style.
And we take a breath very slowly in and out.
Uncrossing your hands and your feet and breathing.
Taking several breaths in and out.
We begin to relax.
Notice the cushion or the surface that you're on.
Notice how supported you feel.
You're completely supported.
You can let go.
Take another breath in and out.
Nice and slow.
Feeling relaxed.
Breathing deeper.
Enjoy this break you're taking for yourself.
Relax.
Let go of all worries.
Stress,
Tension.
Let each breath carry these stresses away.
There's no room for them here.
Breathe.
Nice and slow.
Keep breathing.
Allow your mind to drift and wander to a safe place.
A place you might have been to before or you'd like to go.
Maybe it's in nature.
In the mountains or in the water.
Wherever you want to go.
Go there now in your mind.
A place where you feel like you can let go and where you feel safe.
And breathe.
Notice how relaxed you feel here.
It's the perfect temperature.
As you look around,
Brighten up the color.
Notice how good it feels to be here.
And breathe.
You let go even more.
You may hear sounds of nature or notice a familiar smell.
You feel a gentle breeze come across your body that just cleanses your mind.
All your worries are carried away.
All your thoughts and stresses and overwhelm,
They're gone.
You become even more relaxed.
You look up at the sky and it seems to go on forever.
You notice the light that's coming from the sun or the moon.
It comes down over you.
Which only creates a feeling of deeper safety and deeper relaxation.
As you breathe.
You breathe in this light.
It comes through you,
Through your whole body,
Head to toe and all around you.
It feels good.
It illuminates you.
Inhale and exhale slowly.
In this moment you feel supportive and safe,
Relaxed,
Peaceful.
There's no room for anything else right now.
This is all about peace and relaxation.
And you allow yourself to go there and soak it in.
Your body seems to unwind and relax and let go.
Breathe.
As you bask in this light,
You feel cleansed of worry and overwhelm,
Anxiety,
Fear.
It's gone.
This light seems to carry it away.
This light purifies you.
You feel cleansed and refreshed,
Lighter,
Peaceful.
You're in the moment and it feels good to be here.
Breathing in and breathing out slowly.
Allow yourself to be fully in this moment soaking in this beautiful light and the safe place where you are.
Everything is okay.
Everything's going to work out.
Everything's going to get done.
All that matters is right now,
In this moment.
Breathing in and breathing out.
You feel so supported and you can let go of everything else.
There's no room for anything but right now.
You deserve to relax and to let go and enjoy this time just for you.
You feel re-energized,
Recharged.
