In this quick 10-minute Grounding Meditation, I’ll guide you to reconnect with the earth’s energy, restoring balance to your mind, body, and spirit. This practice is perfect for anytime you need it—day or night. Just find a quiet, private space, whether that's in your bedroom, your car, or even a few peaceful moments in the bathroom, and let yourself come back to center.

We unknowingly,

Energetically detach from the earth,

Which is why a grounding practice is so important.

Grounding is important for clarity,

Helps us to become present and live in the moment.

It enhances intuition,

Helps with sleep,

Heals the body,

Regulates the nervous system and so much more.

This is an important practice to do as much as we can and an easy one as well.

Let us begin.

Take a nice slow deep breath and close your eyes.

Put your feet on the floor and just notice.

Notice that your feet are on the floor.

Bring your awareness to your feet.

Feel the weight of your feet on the floor as if you have weights on your feet.

This begins the anchoring process.

We anchor our feet by opening up the bottoms of our feet where we have energy centers.

Whether you can see them or know about them,

It doesn't matter.

We all have energy centers on the bottoms of our feet.

Take a moment now and hold your intention to open those energy centers.

You may notice tingling under your feet,

Heat,

Cold or something else and maybe nothing.

All is perfect.

Just tune in to the bottoms of your feet as they open and begin to ground.

What's happening is the energy from the earth is moving up through your feet and beginning to pull you and anchor you down onto the earth.

Take a moment and notice.

As your feet and body are beginning to ground,

As you tune into the energy coming up through your feet,

Do you notice a color?

Do you hear something?

What do you sense is happening not only with your feet but with your body?

Be open and curious to what's happening as your body tethers itself to the earth.

Now notice the surface that you're sitting on.

Feel the support of the surface that you're on and let yourself go a little bit more and relax.

As the energy is coming up through your feet,

It begins to move through your whole body.

Notice this happening now.

It slowly weaves its way up your legs.

Just notice.

You're not pushing anything or pulling anything,

You're just simply watching this energy becoming aware that something feels slightly different around your feet,

Coming up through your legs.

Open up and let the energy flow through you.

It already knows what to do.

Just stay open and sense this happening to you now.

The body craves this feeling of being grounded.

When we're grounded in this way,

We're deeply connected with our body and all of its wisdom.

Feel the energy move up through your torso.

Tune into your arms,

Your chest,

Your neck,

Your head.

Notice the energy is weaving and moving its way through your whole body,

All the way up through the top of your head.

You might feel a pulse of energy,

Some sort of movement,

Or nothing.

All is perfect.

This is a beautiful event as you're becoming more and more connected to yourself.

The energy of the earth is pulling you down onto it.

When we're grounded,

Our intuition is enhanced,

Our knowings are enhanced.

Get into your body now.

We're going to connect to the wisdom of your body and ask for a message.

Just make note of the answer.

Go with the first thought that comes to you.

Drop your awareness into your body and ask what it would like you to know.

Is there a message that it has for you?

And wait for the answer.

If you have a particular question that you'd like to ask it,

Then do so now.

Allow the answer to rise up through you.

Know that you can come back to this state and ask your body these questions anytime.

Thank your body for the message and the wisdom and breathe.

Notice the weight of your body in this grounded state.

Tune into how you might feel different than when you started.

What do you notice?

The longer you sit here,

The more energy from the earth comes up and through you,

Grounding you more and more.

You can either choose to stay here for a few more minutes or you can pull yourself out now and remember you can come back to this state anytime.

Simply hold space for this to happen and intend for your feet to open and the energy to come up.

Grounding is one of the most healing things we can do for ourselves mentally,

Emotionally and physically.

Come back here as often as you can.
