Slow down.
Do a meditation with me.
Close your eyes.
Take a deep inhale through your nose.
And exhale through the nose.
Whatever is touching the ground,
I want you to focus.
On That part.
Allow it to ground into the ground.
Allow there to be roots that grow down into the ground to stabilize you.
To nourish you.
In this meditation,
I'm just going to walk you through Kind of how to meditate.
So there are many Ways,
There are many tips and tricks,
There are many things that you can do,
But The focus needs to be on allowing thoughts to come in.
Bounce off and move on.
Think of them like clouds going by.
So as you begin to meditate You're slowing yourself down,
You're rooting down into the ground.
It's easy to get lost in the weeds of thoughts coming in.
And you may be tempted to Push the thoughts away aggressively.
With a judgment No,
I need to be meditating.
Rather than pushing the thoughts away,
You can let them come in like a cloud and And move on.
They don't have to stick.
They don't have to be Held on to.
And the ego may try to Say that It's necessary right now.
The ego may bring you a thought That seems urgent.
And my invitation to you right now is To recognize that that will still be there after this few minute meditation.
Continue the breath Allowing the thoughts to come in without judgment.
We're not labeling them bad or good.
You just are.
And then allow them to pass by.
And As you practice the more you do The better you'll get at allowing thoughts to just be Something that comes in and goes out.
And the more you practice that The better you'll get outside of meditation Not attaching to a thought that comes in.
A fearful thought An angry thought that may be covered over Covering over another emotion.
So the invitation right now Is to simply be and let the thoughts drift in and drift out.
While you breathe in and breathe out.
And the roots from whatever is touching the floor,
The ground Allow them to continue to slowly grow further down and further down.
Meditation is an art of practicing being here now.
Not worried about the future And not Dwelling too hard on the past.
Being here right now.
When you're ready allow those roots to be pulled back inside of you Recognizing that you can come back here anytime you want to.
You are safe and you are protected.
Thank you for joining me in this meditation.
