Welcome.
My name is Melody Harris,
And I'm going to be guiding you in a meditation today to speak the things that you never got to speak.
My mother passed away 15 years ago,
And I still sometimes think about things that if I had known she was going to pass,
I would have told her.
I also have people that have just gone out of my life for many different reasons,
And there are things I would say.
This is going to be a guided meditation for 10 minutes to bring peace,
Bring clarity,
And maybe even speak your truth.
As we go into this,
I want to remind you to trust your intuition.
Whoever comes up that you need to speak your truth to,
Trust that.
We'll begin in a seated position or lying down,
Whatever is most comfortable for you.
We'll begin to get still,
Closing down the shades of our eyes.
Breathe in.
Notice the breath as it goes in through your nose and travels down your airways into your lungs and feel how it energetically expands oxygen all the way to your toes.
Feel that breath,
That spirit go in and then release like the air from a balloon.
Exhale it all out.
Continue breathing,
Noticing your breath,
Feeling your sitz bones grounding into the earth.
You are safe.
You are held.
You are known.
You are loved.
As you're noticing your breath in and out,
I want you to imagine you're coming to a place where you're standing,
An outdoor fire circle.
A circle of chairs around an outdoor fire.
You sit down staring into the flames,
Seeing such beauty.
The meditation of watching the flames dance is calming and soothing.
Time passes as you breathe in and out,
Noticing you're releasing more and more.
You're relaxing your jaw,
Relaxing your shoulders,
Shaking out any tension in your neck,
Becoming still in front of the fire.
And someone taps you on the shoulder.
You turn around and look up and you see them.
Trust your intuition on who you need to speak with now,
Who you need to share your truth with now.
You haven't seen this person in a while.
You're reminded of your love for them.
Whether this is a loved one that has passed and so recognizing the love is not a hard thing to do.
Or maybe it's a little harder because this is someone that is by choice out of your life.
If your mind wanders,
Bring it back to the breath,
Remembering to focus on the inhale,
Traveling the airways and through the body down to the toes.
Whether it's easy to access the love that you've felt for this person or not,
I invite you to remember your love.
Remember your care.
Remember why they were in your life to begin with,
Whether they hurt you or not.
Remember.
And now in the spirit of this love,
I want you to have a conversation with them.
I want you to speak the things that if you had known they were going to leave your life,
That you would have verbalized.
Make the truth that's on your heart.
Open up your throat.
And let that truth be known and spoken.
Remember,
It's not about ego.
It's not about having the right words.
It's about speaking from your heart,
Which is the very place that heaven meets earth within your heart.
It's not about being right.
It's about saying the truth of what you need to say.
If it feels right,
I invite you to imagine extending some sort of physical touch to that person hand to hand,
Enveloping them in a hug.
Embracing ultimately the love that you had for each other for a time.
Wipe each other's tears if there are tears.
And begin to see yourself going back into your seat by the fire,
Gazing in at the beautiful flames dancing in front of your eyes,
Reminding you that we're all on this journey together.
Begin to come back,
Feeling your body,
Feeling the love and the peace and the gratitude to be able to speak the truth.
Place your hands on your heart and bow in acknowledgement of the peace and the gratitude.
