Hello.

Thank you for joining me.

Today's meditation is going to assist you in moving from inauthenticity to be more authentically you.

What is our reasoning for being inauthentic when we are speaking with other people or engaging in day-to-day life?

For me,

The pull to be inauthentic is coming from a deep place of wanting to be loved and accepted and a belief that I'm not enough as I am.

So today,

I'm going to ask you to go there,

Find your motivation,

And see what we can do with that.

I invite you to get comfortable where you're seated or laying down.

Be sure that you are feeling the earth under your feet or under your sitz bones,

Recognizing that you are grounded exactly where you are.

You are not in any danger,

And you are safe and loved.

Take a cleansing.

Inhale.

And on the exhale,

Sigh out that breath.

One more.

Inhale.

And exhale with a sigh.

If you haven't already,

Please close your eyes and begin to journey with me.

Imagine a beautiful light inside of you at the very center,

The very core of your being.

See that light pulsating and as you're watching it,

Recognize that there is a younger you coming out of that white light.

Notice the clothes that he or she are wearing.

Notice the height and trust your intuition that whatever age is coming to you is significant.

That child was somehow taught at this age that they are not enough as they are.

Approach this smaller version of you and I encourage you to show that it is safe however you would do that,

Whether it be that you see in your mind's eye that you're hugging them,

That you're giving them a smile or a pat on the hand,

Whatever makes sense to you,

Whatever feels natural.

Allow that to happen.

When you're both comfortable,

I want you to take a moment and ask little you,

Why is it that you don't feel you can be authentically you?

Why do you feel you have to change yourself in order to be loved and listen to their response?

It may come in the form of words,

It may come as a feeling,

It may come in a memory.

This wise you is going to show you what initial hurt led to this wrong hurtful view of yourself.

Trust yourself you are safe.

If emotions come up,

That's good,

That's fine.

If emotions surprisingly do not come up,

That's also good and fine.

Whatever needs to come out will,

Trust that.

And whatever needs to come up within you will and trust that.

You may have further questions and that's okay.

You may want to come back and revisit and go deeper and that's okay too.

Whatever has been revealed to you right now is exactly what you needed to hear.

And the little you trusted you with this,

With this information.

So I invite you to show your gratitude to little you.

Again,

Mother gave me a smile,

A hug.

I personally always enjoy hugging myself because I didn't always feel the peace that I needed and now I can give that to myself.

Hug the little one.

Give the little one as much love and gratitude that you can possibly pour out.

Remember they came from that white light within inside of you and you can now take that white love,

That white light and pour back into them.

And what a beautiful gift you can give to yourself by doing that.

Allow them to become unbound from you and begin to go back into that white light at the core of your body knowing that at any point you can come back to them and they can come back to you and it is safe to do so.

Take another deep cleansing breath,

Inhaling through the nose,

Exhaling through the nose.

Place your hands on your heart,

Over your heart and thank yourself and your little person for showing you this bit of truth about yourself,

This bit of wisdom.

Recognizing that in the knowing now you can begin to move towards authenticity.

Recognizing that the previous move towards being inauthentic was simply your inner child's best way to protect itself.

And now you know better and you do better.

Feeling all the gratitude within your heart space,

Feeling all the gratitude within your core,

Sending your little self again,

A little bit more of that gratitude.
