I'll invite you to just settle in,

Closing your eyes if that feels comfortable.

Let's just start by finding that centered still place within ourselves,

Just coming into the breath,

Taking a big deep breath in,

Exhaling,

Just letting it go.

Letting the day fall away,

Letting the week fall away,

Letting anything that is coming after this moment to just rest and wait for you.

Just allowing yourself and all your energy to come into this moment,

Feeling the connection of your body to the support beneath you,

Behind you,

Feeling all the points of contact,

Be it your head,

Your back,

Your hips,

Your thighs,

Your feet,

Even noticing where the hands are resting.

Knowing that there is support here for you,

Rising up,

Holding you,

Meeting you in this moment,

In every moment,

And imagining golden rose-colored light washing down upon you and all around you.

Just allowing this healing light to fill every cell of your being,

Soothing and comforting,

Dissolving any tension,

Any discomfort that it comes to.

As you're coming into this still place,

Into this quiet place within,

Asking the question,

What is it that I can do that makes me smile so big,

That brings me so much joy in the midst of doing it?

Just taking this moment now and seeing yourself,

Feeling yourself in that moment,

Be it physical pleasure,

Be it an emotional experience,

Be it a visual experience of grand beauty,

Maybe it's listening to music or listening to nature,

Or maybe it's the smell of fresh flowers,

But just allowing yourself to be in that moment of joy,

Of happiness,

Just allowing the smile on your face to grow wider and wider.

Knowing that as those muscles open up your smile,

That they're releasing all those feel-good chemicals in your brain.

Just smiling a little bit bigger now,

Allowing that grin to take space,

Feeling the muscles in your cheeks tightening,

Lifting up the corners of your mouth.

Just imagining yourself in that thing,

In that moment,

In that experience that makes you so happy.

Imagining the sensations,

The sounds,

The smells,

The sights,

Engaging all the senses.

It's good to know that you can come into this moment of happiness,

Of joy,

Of bliss just through your imagination.

Just by coming into the word joy,

Joy,

Joy.

Any part of you that might be in struggle,

Just allow that part to be here with you as if the bliss,

The joy,

The happiness were a blanket of love,

Of light that you could just wrap around the shoulders.

Just allowing the all of your being to be present in this moment,

Not needing to force a feeling,

Not needing to push any part of yourself away.

Just making space,

Making space for the all of you to be present in this moment,

In the experience of happiness,

In the experience of joy,

Of whatever it is that brings you into bliss.

And bringing your attention to your spine,

Allowing it to grow long,

Allowing the head to reach to the heavens,

The sacrum to stretch to the earth.

Imagining a column of energy moving in that vertical plane from the top all the way through the spine,

Down the sacrum and rooting itself deep,

Deep,

Deep into the earth.

And any uncomfortable feelings,

Any discomfort that's present here be it in the body,

In the mind,

In the heart,

You could just allow that energy to move down this column.

Allow it to move to the very center of the earth,

Just letting it go,

Knowing at the very core of the earth is a liquid lava center.

Sending that old energy into the center of the earth to be transformed by that fire.

Letting go of the sorrow,

The grief,

The shoulds,

The disappointments,

The regrets,

Just letting all of that go,

Being transformed,

Allowing more and more and more of you to be in the experience of the joy of the bliss.

Bringing your attention back to the smile,

Allowing your cheeks to stretch a little bit more.

Knowing that in this moment,

All is well.

In this moment,

The body is breathing easily and effortlessly in this moment.

That shower of golden rose-colored light is filling your cells and nurturing your body,

Your heart,

Your mind,

Your soul.

Allowing yourself to settle into this moment that is the peace that you are,

That is the joy that you are.

It's good to know that the body can remember how to take you into this still place,

Into this quiet place,

This restorative place anytime you want to or need to.

It's good to know that this is the nature of your being is to be in joy,

To be in that place of bliss,

In that place of peace.

This is who you are.

Just allowing the body to remember this place.

Remembering that the breath is the way to your bliss,

To that place of joy.

That the smile can come first and the wash of brain temples comes next.

So good to know the truth of our being.

So in a moment,

I'll count back from five to one.

When I get to one,

You'll be awake and alert,

Feeling refreshed and energized,

Ready to move into your next experience.

Staying connected to that place of joy,

That place of happiness,

Of peace,

Of bliss.

So coming back now,

Five,

Taking a breath deep into the abdomen.

Four,

Beginning to move and stretch the body,

Wiggling fingers and toes.

Three,

Bringing your awareness back into the room,

Coming all the way back up now.

Two,

Getting ready to open your eyes and one.
