And so,
Just taking this moment now to be present,
Present to the body temple,
Present to the breath.
And just letting go of the day,
Letting go of what's to come.
Just allowing yourself to be here,
Here in this moment.
And just feeling the ease of the breath,
No need to change it,
Just allow it to be easy,
Exactly where it is.
As if you were extending permission to yourself to just be exactly where you are.
And if it's comfortable,
You can even take your hands and put them on your body.
Feel your arms,
Your shoulders,
Your belly,
Your waist,
Your thighs,
Your hips.
Just coming into acknowledging the body temple as it is in this moment.
You can imagine a golden rose colored light just washing down upon you and all around you.
Washing through any feelings about the body temple.
Maybe there's feelings of frustration,
Anger,
Maybe there's feelings of shame or guilt.
And whatever feelings are present here with the body temple,
Just allowing this golden rose colored light to wash through and soften and dissolve all of those difficult feelings.
Deepening the breath,
Allowing yourself to just be present.
And imagining yourself walking in nature along a path one of those beautiful perfect days with the most perfect temperature,
Hearing the sounds around you,
Seeing the vibrant color,
Smelling those sweet smells of nature,
Hearing your feet as they walk on the path.
And you'll notice up ahead a clearing,
A place of very private seclusion that is so beautifully,
Powerfully held for you.
No one else here.
No one that might intrude.
This is your sacred space.
And you could imagine all the excess extra layers that the body temple is holding.
Imagine that as a suit that has a zipper that goes from the chin all the way down.
And imagining yourself slowly,
Slowly just unzipping that layer of excess weight.
And feeling yourself lightening up as that extra weight,
That layer,
That suit that you've been wearing just slides off the body.
And stepping fully free from it to the side and looking at it as it lays there on the ground.
And of course,
There's a myriad of feelings about this extra weight,
These extra layers.
And to powerfully heal this relationship with the body temple,
I invite you to find gratitude.
Whatever it is,
You know that that extra layer was providing you.
Maybe it was long ago.
Maybe it was yesterday.
Thank you for protecting me.
Thank you for creating a layer of buffer between me and the sharpness,
The harshness of the world.
And thank you for hiding me.
Thank you for helping me not feel the pain of judgment,
Others or my own.
Whatever it is for you in this moment that you're able to acknowledge that this excess layer has provided you.
Even if it's just the words,
Thank you.
Because it could be beyond the conscious awareness,
Conscious understanding of how this has served you.
And taking a moment with this layer off as it sits on the ground and moving the body temple,
Feeling the lightness and the fluidity of the movement,
Feeling the ease in which the body can move,
Feeling that freedom lifting.
And at the same time,
Noticing within your own being,
Is there any part of you that is not okay letting this extra layer fall to the ground?
If there is any part of you just scooping them up,
Holding them close and letting that part of you know you're safe and I've got you and I'm here with you.
Exhaling,
Letting it go.
And just repeating these affirmations,
I am loved and I am lovable.
I am and always have been worthy of respect.
And I choose now to love myself wholeheartedly.
And just asking yourselves to memorize this lighter feeling,
This freer feeling,
Knowing that this is the becoming you.
The body temple knows how to permanently remove the excess,
To leave it there on the ground.
And the wisdom of the body can speak to you.
And so just listening in those still moments,
In those quiet moments,
And asking the body temple,
How do I serve you?
How can I take the best care of you?
What is it that you need?
And just knowing that you are deepening this relationship with the body temple,
Knowing that you are stepping into this lighter,
Freer way of being.
Embracing yourself in all the many parts,
Loving and thanking the excess weight for how it served you in the past,
Letting go,
And stepping in anew.
And so if you choose,
You can step back into the extra layer and zip it up.
If you choose,
You can leave it here and just walk away.
There's no right or wrong here.
It's a process.
And just offering yourself exquisite grace as you move into health.
And when you're ready,
You can softly just open your eyes.
