By the end of the course, students will gain tools to integrate laughter into their spiritual practices, helping to release blockages and cultivate higher vibrational energy, ultimately leading to a more joyful and fulfilling life.


Meet your Teacher

Dawn Marie began practicing hatha yoga in 2003. She was introduced to laughter yoga in 2008. And in 2017, she experienced the transformational power of kundalini yoga and meditation. Within a year, she became a KRI-Certified Kundalini Yoga Instructor and RYT-200 with Yoga Alliance. Now, Dawn Marie shares a unique blend of her favorite yogic practices in her Wholehearted Yoga classes, which include pranayama, yoga, laughter, and meditation. Her mission is to inspire people to revitalize their bodies, minds, and spirits. She wants everyone to embrace life fully! After reversing her autoimmune condition with the help of functional medicine and lifestyle changes, Dawn Marie was driven to help others do the same. As a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach, Dawn Marie empowers people to optimize their well-being with a holistic approach. We’ll learn how laughter boosts immunity, stimulates the release of mood-enhancing endorphins, and supports the vagus nerve, which helps manage stress. We’ll also discover more about laughter’s role in improving blood flow, reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease, and promoting overall health. Throughout the session, we’ll engage in various laughter exercises, such as “Lion-Face Laughter,” to activate these body benefits. By integrating laughter into our practice, we will not only enhance our physical health but also nurture our mental and spiritual well-being.

As we engage in exercises like “Keep It Quiet” and “Shake It Off,” we’ll discover how laughter can enhance your mental well-being, boost optimism, and even improve memory and cognitive function, all while fostering a sense of joy.

Laughter And The Spirit

In Session 4, we will dive deeper into the connection between laughter and your spirit, discovering how laughter can elevate your energy and bring you closer to inner joy. We’ll explore how laughter is not only a way of letting go, but it is also a way to raise our vibration and connect to our spirit. Through exercises like “Awakening Laughter” and “Laughing Baby,” we will experience how laughter can transform our mindset, helping us release judgments and embrace the present moment with a childlike sense of wonder. We will also explore how to embody joy more fully in our lives to connect with the deeper aspects of our being. This session invites us to lighten up, practice joy intentionally, and embody the unadulterated bliss that laughter can bring to our spiritual paths.

Finally, we will review creative ways to integrate laughter into everyday life, from starting your day with "Laughter Uprising" to sharing laughter with loved ones. With a focus on joy, connection, and spiritual freedom, this session encourages us to continue using laughter as a daily spiritual practice and to spread joy to others along the way.
