I'm Michelle Bradley,

Exercise physiologist and health coach.

I'd like to lead you on a deep relaxation meditation.

Find yourself a comfortable position.

Allow yourself to feel at ease.

Take in a deep inhalation and slowly exhale.

Continue to do this.

Breathing in deeply and exhaling slowly.

On your next inhalation,

Allow your belly to expand with the inhale.

Let the belly contract on the exhale.

Breathing in,

Expand the belly.

Exhaling softly,

Breathing it in.

One more time,

Deep breath in,

Fill the belly.

Slow exhale,

Bringing the belly back in.

Relax into a comfortable breathing pattern.

Bring your attention to the muscles of your forehead,

Relaxing the muscles between your eyes,

Softening the muscles in your cheeks,

Allowing your jaw to relax,

Feeling your whole head be heavy and comfortable and relaxed.

Relax your neck,

Soften and soothe the muscles down your neck and into your shoulders,

Relaxing your upper arms,

Down your arms into your elbows,

Your forearms,

Relaxing your wrists,

Your hands and inch finger.

Your arms are heavy,

Warm and relaxed.

Feel comfortable in your chest and upper back.

Allow them to feel at rest and relaxed,

Soothing relaxation down your abdomen,

Your trunk,

Down your spine,

In your back,

In your low back,

Relaxing your abdomen,

A deep relaxation in your hips,

Your thighs,

Fully relaxed,

Comfortable,

Warm,

Soothing relaxation down your legs,

Your knees relaxed,

Lower legs,

Ankles,

Soles of your feet,

Tops of your feet,

All the way through your toes,

Warm,

Heavy,

Deeply relaxed and comfortable.

Your entire body feels at rest.

I'd like for you to visualize a place of beauty,

A place that you can see in your mind's eye,

That gives you the feeling of all,

How remarkable,

How grateful am I to see this beauty.

I'd like for you to imagine yourself sitting in a comfortable position and taking it all in.

What do you see?

What do you hear?

If you had to describe this beautiful place,

How would you put it to words?

A warm feeling of contentment and peace and joy fills your senses by the beauty all around you.

Breathe in that fresh air,

That sense of majesty.

You have a feeling of warmth and comfort and ease.

Your body feels at rest and you're in a place that is lovely and enticing and soul fulfilling.

You are joined by someone who's known you their whole life,

Who loves you just the way you are,

Who sees your internal beauty,

Your radiance and all that makes you wonderful,

Marvelous and whole.

They sit beside you,

You have a feeling of comfort from their company.

They share with you that they are so happy to be sharing this beautiful location with you.

They let you know that you are an incredible person and so very capable,

That you have the resolve,

The creativity and the ability to overcome any challenges and to bring your best self to any situation.

They let you know that you are wonderful just the way you are and for this moment of time to just be together with a feeling of peace and rest and appreciation for the beauty that you see.

You recognize this person next to you as you,

Your best self.

You feel your strength,

Your power,

You feel contentment and peace.

You know that you are fully present in the moment of this beautiful experience,

This wonderful place,

You take in the incredible majesty that surrounds you.

You feel good in your body,

At rest.

You feel that all of the goodness inside of you,

All of the faith that you have in your abilities,

All of the knowledge of who you are and the wonderful,

Kind,

Compassionate,

Good-hearted person you know yourself to be is with you in this moment.

To fully relax and enjoy,

To smile,

To feel good,

This is your moment of peace.

Breathe in deeply,

Allow yourself full exhale and relaxation.

This moment is for you to enjoy.

Feel free to stay in this moment,

To feel the warmth and deep relaxation in your body,

Feel contentment and peace and to know that you are wonderful,

Just the way you are.
