Take a couple moments to set up into a comfortable laying position,
Perhaps placing a cushion underneath your knees or under your head.
And when you are ready,
Close down the eyes.
In this session,
We will go through a full body relaxation,
Becoming aware of your whole body as it is laying down,
Whole awareness,
Bringing your attention to the crown of your head,
Starting to soften the skin,
Releasing any tension you may feel at the crown of your head,
Softening your forehead,
Relaxing the skin all across the forehead,
Softening your eyebrows and letting the eyes fall to the back of your head,
Softening your cheeks,
Your ears,
And unclench the jaw,
Tongue is sitting softly relaxed in the mouth,
Whole face and head softens and relaxes,
Feeling like the skin on your face is softening and relaxing and melting,
Back of the head is heavy on the ground,
Whole face and head relax,
Starting to soften the throat,
Relaxing the neck,
You can swallow if you need to,
Relaxing the shoulders,
Letting the back of the shoulders be heavy on the ground,
Relaxing your right upper arm,
Right elbow,
Right forearm,
Wrist,
Hand and fingers,
Whole right arm is relaxed and heavy on the ground,
Relaxing the left upper arm,
Left elbow and left forearm,
The wrist,
The hand and fingers,
Whole left arm softening and relaxing,
Whole left arm heavy on the ground,
Both arms relaxed and heavy on the ground,
Softening the chest,
Softening the heart space,
The ribcage,
Belly,
Lower abdomen and pelvis,
Whole front side of the torso softening and relaxing,
Softening the back of the shoulders,
The upper back,
Middle back and lower back,

Feeling the whole upper body be heavy and softening to the ground,

Feeling the whole lower body soften and relax,
Whole lower body softening into the ground,

Sinking deeper into the ground,
Feeling your whole body soften and melt,
Softening deeper and deeper into the ground,
Be letting go,
Whole body softening,
Whole body relaxing,
Gently bringing your awareness back to your room,
Noticing the sensations on your skin,
Starting to feel lighter and lighter,
Body is becoming lighter and lighter,
Feeling the touch of the clothes on your skin,
The touch of the air on your skin,
Feeling lighter and lighter,
Rising higher and higher,
Gently moving fingers and toes,
Working your way into a full body stretch like you just woke up,
Drawing the knees into the chest and rolling over to one side,
Pause for a moment here,
And whenever you're ready,
Pressing yourself up,
Bringing your hands together at heart centre,
Giving yourself gratitude for making time for yourself today,
