Find yourself in a comfortable position,
Either sit at a table with your pens and paper,
Or you can sit on the floor.
And just for the moment we're going to close our eyes,
And begin to relax into your body with some gentle breathing.
Breathing deep down into your belly,
And allowing your breath to gently flow out.
Imagine that as you breathe in,
You're breathing in nourishment to your body,
And as you breathe out you're letting go of stale energy.
Breathing in,
Breathing out.
Now bring into your awareness something that may be troubling you at this time,
And without judgment or evaluation,
Tune into the emotions you may have around that situation.
Continuing to gently breathe in and out.
Emotions cannot be labelled,
However we can have a sense of them,
And it is with this sense we're going to create your Mandela.
Your Mandela does not need to look pretty,
Or anything like that,
It can be dark if you wish it to be,
If that's what's coming out.
It's not an artistic expression,
It's for you to place inside this circle,
This Mandela.
Breathing in and out,
Being aware of those emotions.
You may gently open your eyes,
And begin to create your Mandela.
Maintaining your present awareness on your emotions,
By drawing the circle,
And then allow your emotions and avenue of expression into your Mandela.
Expression within the Mandela to form any shapes or colours,
Intuitively drawn to put inside the circle.
Sit back and observe your Mandela for a few moments,
Looking at it.
Now that you have completed this Mandela,
Sit back and observe,
And have a look at it for a few moments.
Looking at all the colours and the shapes,
And these are the emotions that you were holding within you,
And you've placed them inside that Mandela.
And now you are ready to create something new.
Again,
Gently close your eyes,
Focus on your breath,
Awareness back to your emotions within,
And the image of your Mandela that you've drawn.
And back to where did those emotions stem from.
If you could change that situation in any way,
What would it look like?
Feel,
Visions that you could bring to this situation.
A real sense of how this would fit,
And begin to create.
Maintaining your present awareness of what you now project into this situation.
In the circle for the Mandela,
It is a sacred tool here to assist you at this time.
Now that you have completed that Mandela,
Sit back and observe what you have done for a few moments.
Looking at all the colours and the shapes,
Gently breathing in newness and clarity as you gaze upon this visual creation,
This sacred Mandela.
Gently close your eyes again,
Maintaining,
Breathing in gratitude.
When you are ready,
You may gently open your eyes and gaze upon the second Mandela that you have created.
This is the new energy you are bringing in to this situation,
And the new emotions that you are bringing into that situation.
It is recommended that you discard the first Mandela,
As you don't need it anymore.
You can bin it,
You can burn it,
Whatever feels right for you.
The second Mandela should be kept within your view for as long as you feel is appropriate.
It will serve as a reminder for that which you desire to create,
And its visual energy and imagery will uplift and inspire you.
Put your second Mandela somewhere that you can see it.
