Valentine's Day has roots in ancient Roman mid-February festivals for renewal and in later traditions honoring Saint Valentine,

Eventually evolving into a day that celebrates love in many forms.

Beyond romance,

It's become an invitation to practice appreciation,

Compassion,

And intentional connection.

Today,

Let it be a values-aligned moment to honor your heart,

Set loving boundaries,

And give and receive care,

First with yourself,

Then with others.

Now let's begin.

Find a quiet space to pause,

Sit,

Or lay down comfortably.

Soften your jaw and shoulders.

Inhale slowly through your nose.

Exhale long and easy through your mouth.

Again,

Inhale presence and exhale any pressure to do Valentine's Day right.

Now bring your attention to your heart space,

Your inner Valentine,

The source of your care and truth.

Place your hands there if it feels good and feel your heart beating just for you.

On your next inhale,

Imagine a pink warm light filling your chest,

Self-love.

On your exhale,

Release any stories that say you must earn love.

And silently repeat to yourself,

I choose to love myself unconditionally.

Now let's reflect gently and honestly.

What does unconditional love look like for me today?

Perhaps it's rest,

Clarity,

Play,

Honesty,

Tenderness.

Allow whatever to come forward for you to be right.

No judgment required.

Now visualize creating this awareness as a simple Valentine for yourself,

A small envelope at your heart sealed with intention.

Slip inside three words you want to feel today.

And see the envelope glow as those feelings take root.

And now expanding that glow throughout your body,

Feeling that pink light expand and grow.

Now beyond your body,

Like a pink glow beaming from outside of you that was created from the inside.

Allowing this pink loving energy spread into the world.

Beautiful.

Now remember,

You can take this energy with you today and every day you want to feel that unconditional love starting from within.

Now take one final nourishing breath in.

And a long exhale out.

Bring a smile to your face.
