Let's begin by gently closing your eyes or softening your gaze.

Now bring your awareness to the tips of your fingers,

Taking your pointer finger and thumb on each hand and lightly rubbing them together.

Do it with such intention that you can feel the ridges on your fingerprints.

Let this gentle attention to your fingertips draw you into the here and now.

Take a slow deep breath in,

Feel your belly expand and exhale,

Letting any tension leave your body.

One more breath in,

Anchoring presence and exhale,

Releasing what no longer serves you.

Now from this place of stillness,

I invite you to reflect on your greatest qualities,

Something you love about yourself.

Perhaps it's your ability to connect with others or the way you can crack a joke.

Maybe it's that you're reliable or the way you love so deeply.

Honor that quality in you.

And from that place of honoring,

Ask yourself,

Did someone instill this quality in me?

Perhaps it was a loved one or a role model who showed you it's possible in the way they showed up.

Or perhaps it was from seeing the opposite and knowing you are going to show up differently.

See this person clearly,

Feel their influence,

Their impact woven into your heart.

And ask yourself,

How might I honor that influencer today for instilling those values in me?

And knowing that whether it came from love or fear,

It's serving you today.

And that's something to be grateful for.

Allow gratitude to bloom in your chest,

Honoring that person and honoring yourself for carrying those values forward.

With a hand on your heart,

Silently repeat,

I honor my past to align my future.

Feel these words settle through you like roots grounding deeper into your truth.

Take one final breath in,

Drawing in gratitude and strength.

And exhale,

Feeling steady and whole.

When you're ready,

Gently flutter your eyes open,

Carrying the wisdom of those who came before you into every step you take next.

Your past is your teacher,

Your values are your compass,

Your future is yours to shape.
