When you finally begin to connect with your truth and to take heed of your soul's calling,
You are to overcome yet another fear,
The fear of facing the power you wield.
Some would recoil at this presumption,
To think of one's greatness could be delusions of grandeur and arrogant assumption.
Others would shy away from the attention,
To be on stage,
To have all eyes on you,
Would be to expose one's imperfection.
But most would say,
We are human and mistakes will happen.
To step into our power is a responsibility,
A righteous burden.
And there's some truth to that because when you come into your power,
You feel more,
You know more,
And little goes amiss.
I guess that's why they say,
Ignorance is bliss.
When you move out of an ignorant place,
You step into a deeper awareness of your intentions and your surroundings.
And this is where you sigh,
Because you can no longer turn a blind eye.
Your conscience is more alert,
Nudging you and poking you,
Calling your attention to all the work,
Now asking you to not ignore,
Telling you,
You could do just a little more.
But just as you notice every duty you dismiss,
Or bad intention,
Or anger and distress,
Towards a trend,
The system,
You will also notice the good stuff.
The background noise of the things that do not matter will begin to fade.
The paragons of virtue,
The givers,
The creators,
Will march to the foreground like a happy parade.
And epiphanies,
Meaningful curiosities,
And paradigm shifting discoveries will illuminate before your eyes and appear in space.
But above all,
When you come into your power,
You touch source.
You feel less fragmented,
Less distracted,
And more connected to something bigger,
To a binding force,
A higher order.
You enter a state of expanded consciousness.
You're in a continuum of multidimensional perception,
A humble knowingness.
And there's nowhere else you'd rather be,
Nowhere else you'd rather explore,
Wander,
Or roam,
Because coming into your power feels like home.
