The There is this idea of being seen by God.
When we bring a certain tone,
A certain tuning,
Perhaps flow to our lives.
I have this image in mind of being seen by God in meditation in this seat,
Of pulling the chair up to the big table.
Perhaps it goes in line with the idea of merit as well,
When our hearts have this flavor of virtue and creating merit through meditation and wishing for well-being for all,
Goodwill.
We have things to offer.
We believe we have something to offer.
We're pulling our chair up to God's table.
Let's have our intentions in mind in this reverent and confident way as we do what we do here,
As we bravely pull up our seat,
Feeling connected to the earth,
Stable,
Contact points with the seat,
The floor,
By extension the earth,
Upright,
Balanced in space.
Let's let our body and mind reflect ease and alertness and balance.
Just feeling ready to be here right now,
Fully present,
As we turn our attention to our breath,
The very life force,
Connection to the universal energy,
To God,
Inspiration,
The breath,
The energy,
And following that,
Rising and falling,
The sensations of breathing as they ripple throughout the body.
Very steadily keeping the attention smoothly on the flowing of the breath,
Each moment all the way through the rising,
The transition,
The falling breath,
The transition at the bottom.
We're letting our awareness ride along with the breath.
As we do that,
Allowing the form of our body to be more and more illuminated by awareness,
Dissolving the boundaries of the strictly physical feelings of breath to a broader,
More energetic notion of the whole body here.
Turning up the awareness to the whole body in this space,
In possession of the awareness of our entire form and beyond,
Set with the intention of goodwill,
Of goodness.
Maybe feel that feeling of being at the big table again,
At God's table.
You've staked a claim here,
Not for the sake of ownership,
Possession,
For the sake of the celebration of creation.
See your hand,
Your heart,
Your voice and vision,
Your spirit in your piece of creation.
Feel your inherent worthiness to be at this table,
At God's table.
Just sitting quietly with these intentions,
We build merit,
Which we can share with others,
To lift others up.
The intention to create,
To inspire,
Feeling whole,
Worthy,
Feeling your breath as the true connection,
Inspiration of universal energy.
The breath is just a hint at this thing which is there without the physical breath,
Tied to your glowing,
Luminous awareness.
Let this potent,
Loving,
Glowing awareness shine from this seat,
Among the other beings who have,
Who are,
And who will take a seat at this table with you and God,
Shining together outside of time,
Outside of space.
We are blessed.
