Prayer to the parents.
This is a Beth Hellinger prayer to parents.
It's meant to be done one parent at a time.
Personally I say it just before sleep and it feels very calming and gives me strength at the same time.
I do think that major healing can occur by just repeating this prayer to mom and dad daily.
Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths and you can repeat the prayer out loud or silently.
Dear mom,
Thank you for the life you gave me.
I accepted fully the whole package with all it cost you and all it cost me.
I make something out of my life to honor you and bring you joy.
So your life and suffering was not in vain.
If I can I hold onto it and honor it and if I can I pass on the good just like you did.
I take you as my mother and you can hold me as your child.
You are the right mother for me and I am the right child for you.
You are the big one I am the small one.
You give I take dear mom.
I'm glad you took dad to be your man.
Both of you are the right ones for me only you.
I return to you the burdens I have carried that belong to you.
I took them out of love.
What is behind you and between you and dad belongs with you.
I know now that you are strong enough to carry them yourself.
I carry only what is mine with grace.
Please bless me when I do better than you did.

I take you as my father and you can hold me as your child.
You are the right father for me and I am the right child for you.
You are the big one I am the small one.
You give I take dear dad.
I am glad you took mom to be your wife.
Both of you are the right ones for me only you.
I return to you the burdens I have carried that belong to you.
I took them out of love.
What is behind you and between you and mom belongs with you.
I know now that you are strong enough to carry them yourself.

Take a deep breath.
This is best done in the evening before bed in front of a photo of your parents out loud.
It may bring up emotions which is good and eventually it will just become true.
Wishing you a lovely night.
Bye.
