On day 8, we will look at the theme of 'Wisdom' which is about asking yourself to see all the possibilities of your life. The Circle of Calm is inspired by the method called 'Emotional Walkabout'. It's explained in the book 'Emotional Yoga' which is written by Bija Bennett. In the 10 meditations on the Circle of Calm, I (Marianne) will explore the method of self-inquiry with you to find answers to situations, feelings and/or thoughts that keep you busy.

Hello and welcome.

Welcome to Day 8 on the Circle of Calm.

We are almost there.

Today we will look at the topic of wisdom,

And tomorrow on Saturday at seniority,

And then on Sunday,

The last day of the Circle of Calm,

We will bring it all together.

And how are you feeling today?

Let's tune in.

Let's tune in to what is present today,

Right now.

So let's get comfortable.

And make yourself at ease.

And then we will sit still for three minutes.

And just notice what happens.

Notice what happens during the next three minutes of silence.

Okay.

.

.

.

.

.

.

What is present?

And there is nothing you need to do with it.

You don't need to change it.

You can let it be.

It's like we've been doing on the last days.

You observe.

You notice.

And nothing more.

And yesterday we looked at the topic of knowledge.

We looked at what it would be like if you would be freed from your past.

So if you have no limiting thoughts,

Feelings or beliefs.

And we will link it to today's topic,

Wisdom.

Now imagine you can make new choices.

And you can decide on new steps to take.

Which you can.

Then what would you do?

What are the first things that come to mind?

What are the first things that come to mind?

And we will sit with one question related to that.

And that's the following question.

What's the most exciting possibility for me right now?

So what's the most exciting possibility for me right now?

And I'll leave you here for three minutes.

Okay.

Okay.

Okay.

Okay.

And then you can let the question go.

And keep it at the back of your mind today.

And keep on listening to what will bubble up to surface.

So the question to keep at the back of your mind for today.

What's the most exciting possibility for me right now?

And also know that nothing can be forced.

It happens when it happens.

It's like this African saying,

We will meet when we meet.

Throughout the rest of the day,

Keep on noticing,

Keep on observing.

What would be exciting for you?

What would you like to create?

What are you hoping for?

And what steps would be right for you right now?

And then for the remaining time on the meditation,

Tune into the breath that the questions be.

And also whatever is right for you,

Right for you,

You will feel it.

And the way you can feel that in the body is that a yes is expensive.

It's growth.

And a no feels like a contraction.

Give yourself time today to notice that in your body.

When do you feel a yes?

And when is it clearly a no?

It doesn't mean you have to do something with that knowing already.

Keep on observing and keep on noticing.

And then take a deep breath in through the nose and let it go out through the mouth.

Deep breath in through the nose and breathe out.

One more at your own pace.

And then expand your awareness to your body and your body in a room.

And then one final thought for today.

Accept the circumstances and events happening around you.

And continue to move ahead.

I will speak to you tomorrow.

Speak to you then.
