If you wake at 3AM and intrusive thoughts appear the moment your mind turns on, you’re inside the 3AM Activation Loop. The body spikes. The mind starts scanning for explanations. Trying to solve the spike keeps the system awake. This short reset interrupts that pattern. You’ll use a simple physical anchor to let the nervous system settle without forcing sleep. This is not a sleep technique. You are not trying to fall asleep. You are allowing the nervous system to come down from activation.
