Hi friends.

Today we're going to be doing what's called a two-way prayer.

It's exactly what it sounds like.

It's an opportunity for you to speak and to feel heard to maybe receive some clarity.

Maybe a peace that surpasses understanding of circumstances.

If you haven't yet listened to my track Connecting With Your Higher Power or A Higher Power That Loves You,

You may want to do that first if there's a lot of resistance to connecting with the divine,

Which I deeply understand.

Society has not necessarily helped us a ton in making that a priority and so this is an opportunity for us to take our power back and to be in that conscious contact with God as we understand God.

And so whatever your higher power is,

Mother nature,

Holy spirit,

Guardian angels,

Your higher self,

Being intentional that that divine love comes into the room now.

Getting into a comfortable position,

Placing all distractions aside.

You may want to jot some notes down so that you can release any to-do lists or any circumstances for the moment.

You can pick them back up later and allow the eyes to close down,

Turning the gaze inward.

And let's take some deep breaths together.

In through the nose and out through the mouth.

Let's go in through the mouth and out through the nose.

In through the nose and out through the mouth.

Good,

Keep going.

I'm just flushing the body with fresh oxygen in through the nose.

A couple more.

Releasing tension in through the mouth.

And exhale nose.

Last one in through the nose.

Hold the breath and sip in a little bit more air.

When you need to,

Slowly release.

And then I want you to just start to scan your body and get a solid starting point as the messages that we'll receive soon may be translated through sensation in the body.

And so I want you to be super aware of yourself so that you can notice any shifts,

Any changes.

So,

Taking that moment to relax your jaw,

Your fingertips.

Notice how the belly feels.

Notice the hips and the back.

Notice the chest and the throat.

Scanning through a few more times,

Keeping that slow exhale.

It's important to regulate the nervous system so that the spirit feels safe.

The body feels safe to let go.

And soften into the presence of the heavenly realms around you.

Softening the shoulders,

Opening through the chest.

Maybe the fingers peel open.

If it's been a long time since you've received the love that you deserve,

It can sometimes feel overwhelming.

Many people think that if they have the spirit of the divine on them,

That they'd be joyful,

Grateful all the time.

And that's simply not the case.

The presence of love breaks down our walls and gives us permission to feel.

So,

Let yourself make room in this moment.

If there's something coming to the surface,

Let it go.

You're safe and held.

Beautiful job.

And I want you to either speak out loud if it's safe,

Or simply saying a prayer in your mind.

Asking to connect with your higher power.

Take any adjustments you need and settle deeply into stillness.

And I want you to bring to mind anything that you're worried about right now.

The thing that you need clarity on.

The thing that's baffling or confusing you.

The thing that's on your heart at this moment.

And if there's nothing,

Just asking for what you need to know right now,

For the greatest and highest good.

But don't be afraid to be specific.

Your higher power loves you and wants you to know that there is a good plan for you.

It wants you to know the next right step,

Even if you're not allowed to see the full picture right now.

And I want you to ask.

Ask a question.

Ask about a situation.

Where do I go from here?

What is my next step?

Be specific,

Make it personal.

And take a deep breath.

And now just listen.

Try not to grab a hold of any one thing.

As if there's a radio playing softly.

And you have to focus to hear it.

Notice any shifts in your body.

Notice any images,

Colors,

Sounds.

Notice everything.

Without judgment.

And keep breathing.

Sometimes the message induces fear.

It's maybe outside of our comfort zone.

That's okay.

Just keep listening.

There's always more.

There's always comfort.

Let yourself be comforted.

Start to take some deeper breaths now.

Maybe placing the hands over the heart.

And offering gratitude for whatever came through today.

Letting it settle in your body.

Feel an empowerment,

A support,

A courage waving over your body.

As you start to wiggle your fingers and your toes.

Maybe rocking your head from side to side.

If you're lying down,

Making your way to seated.

Sitting up a little bit taller than you were before.

And opening your eyes.

Remember that the presence of love is always with you.

And you may always connect to it.
