
Yoga Nidra: Envision
In this Yoga Nidra, we ground ourselves in the here and now and remember that all of life is a collection of moments. It is from this place that we create from. When we take care of this present moment, we can tend to all present moments. Settle in and get ready to not only relax your body and mind but also take a ride into another present moment using the power of imagination.

Hello,
And welcome to this practice of Yoga Nidra.
Today I invite you to get comfortable and cozy,
Whatever that means for you today,
Trying not to move out of habit and instead really tune in and ask yourself,
What do I need right now?
Listen with respect and reverence to what you hear.
Honor what you need today,
Here,
And now in this present moment.
I'm Lynette and I'll be guiding you through this practice.
So get cozy,
Uncomfortable,
And then scan your body and check in and if you could make yourself even just 1% more comfortable,
What would that look like?
What would you have to do?
Remember,
You want to support your body,
You want lots of cushioning,
You want to be warm,
You want to reduce stimulation,
So the light,
Maybe by covering your eyes,
Anything that feels good for you.
Once you're comfortable,
Start to tune into your breath.
Don't control it,
Just be a witness to your own breathing.
Observe your self-breathing without making anything happen.
How remarkable is that?
You are here now,
Breathing in the prosperity of life,
Exhaling,
You can relax a little more into the space that you've created for yourself.
And just carry on with this long,
Deep breathing and know that your breath is connecting you to your highest self,
Your true nature,
To God,
To the universe.
Whatever resonates for you,
You are connecting to something greater through your breath.
You are connecting to unconditional love and your highest consciousness together in your heart.
Rest in your heart for a moment,
And if it feels right for you,
Call upon your team,
Your guides,
Your angels,
To create a safe container around you where you are protected,
Guided,
And loved.
Long deep breathing as you rest in the space of your heart and ask yourself,
What is one quality that you would like to embody?
This means to feel in your body,
To live this feeling in each present moment.
What is one quality you would like to embody as we move forward into this new day,
New month,
New year,
Wherever you're at as you listen to this?
How do you want to feel?
And then feel this feeling and know that by thinking and feeling this feeling at the same time,
You are creating a strong electromagnetic field for yourself.
How do you want to feel?
And can you tap in or tune into those feelings in your body at the same time?
We are envisioning not about something we wish to happen in the future.
We are envisioning right here,
Right now,
Creating in this present moment.
And all life is one eternal present moment.
Life shows up as the present moment,
So take care of your present moment and you'll take care of your future.
Long deep breathing,
Resting here in this space between no longer and not yet,
Knowing that we are affecting all timelines and all present moments.
Inhale again and exhale again even more,
Releasing any tension that's still lingering in and around your body.
And as you inhale again,
Inhale that prosperity of life,
Your breath.
Wow.
And as you exhale,
Relax your whole body.
With each inhale,
You are nourishing every single cell in your body.
And with each exhale,
You start to let go of controlling how it all goes.
Inhale,
Let exhale go.
Taking three more deep sighs out through the mouth if you want to.
Again,
Thinking and feeling the quality you want to embody as you step forward into your next present moments.
Now using your imagination,
Visualize a bubble of light around your body.
This pearlescent bubble of light is like your own personal present moment.
This bubble of light,
You are in this present moment.
And as you inhale,
Breathe out to fill this bubble with more light as it expands.
And as you exhale,
Bringing all of your attention back into your heart,
Filling your heart with the same bright light.
Inhale breath out into this bubble,
Filling it with light.
It grows around you.
And exhale,
Bring your awareness back to the center of your heart.
Your heart fills with light.
Inhale,
Fill this bubble of light with breath and brightness.
And as you exhale,
It concentrates back at the center of your heart.
Breathe like this for 11 more times,
Counting to yourself.
Filling on the inhale,
Softening and coming back to the heart on your exhale,
Counting for 11 more times to yourself.
Now that you've created this safe and stable container for yourself,
Here and now,
Bring all of your awareness inside this bubble of light.
You are floating in this space now.
Using your imagination here,
Imagine this shimmering diamond-like filter at the bottom of your feet,
Big enough to go around your whole body.
We will start to scan the body from the bottom of the feet,
And we'll move slowly all the way up.
And as this filter starts to move up and scan,
It will clear all fragments,
All tension,
Any distortion,
And anything lingering that does not serve and does not align with your true self.
Follow my cues and watch this shimmering filter slowly scan up the body.
And if you need to pause at any one area,
You can.
Starting at the bottom of your feet.
The bones of your feet and all 10 toes.
Your shins and calves.
Your kneecaps.
Thighs and thigh bones.
Right hip and left hip.
And both hips together.
Your whole pelvis,
Your pelvic floor,
Your womb space,
Your low belly space,
Your whole belly and pelvis area.
And scanning up the spine.
This filter scans up each vertebra in the spine until it gets to the ribs and it scans the right side of the ribs and the left side of your ribs.
And your whole rib cage together.
Moving to your right lung.
Your left lung.
Scanning both of your lungs together.
And scanning your heart.
This diamond white light scans and clears your whole heart space.
Your collarbones.
Your right shoulder.
Your left shoulder.
And both shoulders together.
Your right arm and elbow.
Left arm and elbow.
And both arms and elbows together.
Scanning your right hand.
Your right fingers.
And your left hand.
And left fingers.
Scanning the bones of both hands and all ten fingers all together.
Continue scanning up the cervical spine,
The throat,
The neck.
And then your jaw,
Teeth,
Tongue,
And your whole mouth together.
Scanning the very small bones in your right ear and the very small bones in your left ear.
And gently scanning both ears together.
Scanning your nose,
All the way up the bridge of your nose,
To your right eye socket,
Left eye socket,
Right eyeball,
And left eyeball.
And then both eyes together.
Scanning both eyebrows and the space between your eyebrows.
Forehead.
Up and down,
Scanning the middle of your head between your ears and the back of your head.
And this sparkling filter scans your whole head and face all together.
Scanning all the way up to the top of your head and past the top of your head.
Continue with your long,
Deep breathing.
And once your whole body has been scanned,
Watch this sparkling diamond-like filter to spread out and around your whole body.
And begin to feel your whole body floating in this bubble of shimmering light.
Here you are weightless and you are breathing freely.
Take three more long,
Deep breaths in this luminescent light that you are floating in.
Now this bubble of shimmering light starts to slowly lift you off the ground.
You are safe here.
You are protected in this bubble of light as you slowly rise up in the room you are in.
Slowly rising up above your home.
And as you rise,
You can see your whole neighborhood.
You rise up,
Up,
Up into the sky where you can see your whole city.
And as you slowly float up,
You can see your whole country.
Slowly floating up into the stars,
You can see the whole planet.
You linger here for a moment in space,
Observing all of the stars sparkling all around you.
You are anchored in this bubble of light.
You are free to travel anywhere,
Anytime,
Any place in time that you would like.
You notice this iridescent bubble carrying you now to a future,
Present moment.
Allow this container to take you where you need and want to go.
You see this future,
Present moment coming into your view.
It starts to take form.
And as it does,
As you see it more clearly,
You slowly descend down into this space and time of a future,
Present moment.
Notice where you are and settle in and just look around,
Noticing where you've landed.
After a few breaths,
You notice that you are joined by your future self from this time that you've landed in.
This future self joins you in this light form that you are floating in.
You sit cross-legged in front of each other,
Facing each other.
And your future self smiles at you with bright eyes.
You both hold up the palms of your hands towards each other.
Palm softly touching.
You start to feel an energy transfer between your palms.
Your future self is sending you all of the qualities you want to embody.
You can feel these elevated qualities and emotions soaking into your hands.
You feel the electricity of this new energy from another time,
Another moment in time.
And your future self is so filled with joy that you came to visit.
Continue to feel the sensations of these elevated qualities that continue to flow between you too,
That will allow you to shine your light even brighter wherever you are.
What do you want to embody?
How do you want to feel in your present moments?
You both relax your hands and close your eyes as you soak in this generous present moment in some future time and space.
Rest here,
Knowing you are always supported and guided.
Rest in these elevated emotions.
As you flutter your eyes open in this future moment,
You notice your future self has gone,
But you still feel the sensations of your elevation of possibility.
And with those feelings of possibility,
You notice the bubble of luminescent light start to slowly lift back up,
Up,
Up towards the stars.
You notice all of the stars shimmering once again as you look down and see planet Earth.
And as you gaze down towards the earth,
You feel yourself descending slowly down a little more.
As you descend slowly,
You start to see your own country.
You start to see your city.
And as you slowly descend,
You see your neighborhood and the details around your own home.
And you find yourself hovering above the space you're in.
And this bubble of light gently sets you back down on the ground.
And as you descend down,
You feel the pearlescence,
The diamond light start to sparkle and break apart into small particles of light shimmering around your body.
And they start to draw inwards into the bubble of each cell in your body.
You feel every cell in your body light up with all of these elevated emotions and qualities.
I invite you now to remember these qualities that you want to embody or this Samkalpa statement you might have started with,
Bringing it clearly to your mind,
Feeling what it feels like to embody all of it.
And you can use the words,
I am this quality,
And repeat it to yourself over and over,
Feeling the expansion growing in your body.
And when you're ready to exhale,
Let it be a deep releasing exhale and let the words go remembering that you are always guided and supported.
The practice of Yoga Nidra is now complete.
You start to feel your present moment now,
Noticing the space you're in,
Allowing your senses to guide you back.
Take your time as you notice yourself resting in the here and now.
And as your awareness grows,
You can take some deep breaths in maybe through the mouth and out through the mouth.
It's so important to take your time as you land back in this present moment now.
Listen to your body as you do what you need to do.
You can stay where you are,
You can roll over to the side,
Or you can come up.
And before you carry on,
I invite you to think about one thing you will do today or tomorrow that will align with how you want to feel,
With what you want to embody,
Knowing that what you're thinking,
What you're feeling,
And the actions you take are all weaving together to create your experience.
