In this story of Hasidic origin,
We meet Ariel,
A man who is not very aware of how his seemingly innocuous comments have very detrimental and practically irreversible effects.
This happens to the majority of us in one way or another.
When we lose our center,
We can generate judgments or thoughts that result in discord,
And therefore discomfort in ourselves.
Sometimes they don't even have to be the result of anger,
But rather come from a state of noisy happiness and disconnection.
These blunders often cause damage to the other person,
Of which we are not aware.
In this case,
The shopkeeper was bankrupt.
And as I just mentioned,
It also affects us big time in one way or another,
Since it is the attitude we are projecting,
That which we are sowing.
Another highlight is the way of showing Ariel the damage he had generated,
As ingenious as forceful.
And maybe the most remarkable is the divine gust of wind that seems to respond to the rabbi's wishes.
I hope this story helps you to keep in mind how destructive our thoughts and words can be,
And consequently,
It encourages you to generate a desirable state of consciousness,
So you can decrease in a more natural and effective way the possibilities of lacerating other people,
And of course,
Yourself.
