Detachment

This audio is a recapitulation of the ninth session of the course: INGREDIENTS FOR AWAKENING II. The previous two ingredients lead us to detachment: freedom from earthly conditions. Here we find confidence and serenity. After the exposition of this virtue, we will try to experience the satisfaction that leads us to detachment.

Attachment is concomitant with our egoic mind and its annoying system of tendencies and conditioning. Desires only create more fuel for our suffering. One places oneself beyond fear and hope, Flying over aversions and desires. From there, Detachment, We accept what is happening. Pleasant experiences rise to a more refined sensation, And the painful ones are not so much anymore. Detachment entails a death in life, A rebirth. Let's come back here and try to make this moment rewarding in itself. Perceiving can become a very relaxing activity. Allow yourself to put into perspective everything. Nothing is that important. Life unfolds by itself.
