Welcome to today's guided meditation.
As we begin,
Get settled into a comfortable position and close your eyes.
Start to take deep breaths in and out.
In and out.
Notice where you're holding onto tension.
Unclench your jaw.
Relax your shoulders.
Unclasp your hands.
Just release any tension you're holding onto.
Let go of the day.
Your to-do list.
Tasks.
Anything holding you back from being present right here,
Right now.
As you continue to breathe,
I'm going to bring in some sound vibrations that will help center you and calm you.
Sound healing is a wonderful way to connect you to your soul.
Whenever you're ready,
Let's go on a journey.
I want you to picture a river and see the flow of the water as it begins to rush through the mountains.
You're standing beside that river.
There's beautiful green tall trees everywhere.
You can smell the evergreens.
The deliciousness of them.
You marvel at the beauty all around you.
At the stones.
The leaves.
And the dirt on the ground is beautiful.
You're so grateful to be out in nature.
To be present in the beauty of life.
But something's missing.
Something's stopping your river from flowing.
What's set an intention to find out what that is?
My intention is to learn what's stopping the flow.
Am I holding onto fear?
What is keeping me grounded here and not allowing me to move forward in life?
I've got an idea,
But I need the help of the soul to show me the truth.
In your mind,
I want you to ask a question about why you're being held back from getting whatever it is that you want to get.
Maybe it's a job.
Maybe it's more money.
Maybe it's true love.
Ask your soul the question,
Why am I not getting?
And then finish it for yourself.
Why am I not getting?
After you've asked the question,
I want you to stand at the edge of the river and begin to walk in.
Don't worry,
You're safe.
It will only go up to about your waist.
And don't worry about getting wet.
The soul will dry you off.
Notice if the water is cold or warm or is it just right?
This is the temperature that you're at right now.
If it feels cold,
Most likely you're holding onto fear.
If it feels warm,
You may be angry.
If the temperature is just right,
It might be something that needs clearing that you haven't thought about in a while.
Each of us as individuals have different issues we are working on in this lifetime.
And it's up to you to clear those.
As you peer out in front of you,
What do you see?
Is there a bridge in front of you?
A bridge that can connect you to what you want?
If only you would cross it.
Do you see a person?
Is somebody holding you back?
Or something?
Whatever it is you see in front of you.
That's your building block or something you need to tear down.
If it's a bridge,
Can you start to walk over it?
If it's someone,
Can you ask them to move out of the way?
Tell them you love them,
But you don't need them anymore.
If it's something,
Can you grasp it in your hand and move it aside?
Do that now in your mind.
If you're walking across the bridge,
Is the bridge falling behind you?
Or is it safe and secure?
Are you letting go of what's behind you and walking in faith to the next step in life?
Notice it.
Notice what's in front of you and where you're heading.
If it's someone,
Do they have your full attention?
Do they even know that you're angry,
Sad,
Or mad?
Can you talk to them?
Tell them thank you for showing me the way,
But now you have to leave.
And watch them disappear.
If it's something,
Can you toss it into the river without a care and say goodbye?
Only you know what's right for you.
When you feel like you've been able to let that person or that thing go,
Or you've been able to cross that bridge into new territory,
Take a moment of joy,
Of peace,
Letting go of our difficulties takes time,
Dedication,
And you're doing well.
It's time to walk out of that river.
As you walk out,
You notice you're miraculously dry.
You have no need to worry.
Notice if you took something with you out of the river.
For some,
It might be a tool like an axe or a hammer.
For some,
It might be a person,
A therapist,
A healer.
Whatever you took out,
If you need it,
Keep it with you.
And anytime you need to work on a healing,
Use that tool,
That healer,
Or that therapist to help you.
If you came out of the water and you took nothing with you,
That's okay too.
Your own mind is just the tool you need.
Look back at the river.
Is it beginning to flow?
It might not be perfect,
But it's flowing better.
And you're feeling lighter,
And you're feeling better.
A healing has occurred,
But healing is a daily process.
So come back to this river when you need it.
See what's not flowing and what needs work.
This is the journey of life.
This is the journey of the soul.
This is how we heal.
When you're ready,
You can open your eyes,
Take a deep breath,
Let go of everything that you just healed,
And say thank you.
Namaste.
