Hello.

Welcome.

My name is Abigail Marcy Bearden from Shitset on Shine Wellness.

Today I will introduce you to the Throat Chakra and provide you with information and context.

Then I will lead you through a meditation to bring the Throat Chakra into balance.

The Fifth Chakra or Throat Chakra is called Vishuddha.

It is associated with wisdom,

Creativity and the higher mind.

Vishuddha in Sanskrit means purification center or especially pure.

The Throat Chakra is located at the center of the neck and spreads across the tops of the shoulders.

This chakra governs the thyroid,

Parathyroid,

The jaw,

Neck,

Tongue and larynx.

Vishuddha connects to emotions of wisdom,

Pure communication and higher consciousness and inspiration.

The element associated with Vishuddha is space.

The color is blue.

The seed sound,

Chakra imbalances.

Excessive energy in the Throat Chakra can show up as being overly critical,

Arrogant,

Condescending or indulging in gossip.

Excess energy is a lack of control over words and speech.

Deficient energy of the Throat Chakra can manifest as a timid voice,

Introverted or a fear of speaking up.

When the Throat Chakra is underactive,

It can detach you from your true and authentic self.

When Vishuddha is balanced,

You are able to express your truth.

You are inspired,

You are creative and you are able to align your vision with reality.

Connecting to your voice,

Singing,

Humming and speaking from a heart-centered place can help you to open and strengthen your Throat Chakra.

Peppermint and rosemary essential oils can bring Vishuddha into balance.

Connecting to nature,

Laying on your back and gazing up at a clear blue sky can help you to connect and open up the clear blue sky in your Throat Center.

You are open and honest in your communication.

You live an authentic life.

You speak your truth and know when to listen.

You live a life that you love.

I invite you now to join me in a meditation to bring your Throat Chakra into balance.

Take time to get yourself comfortable in whatever position feels best for you.

Allow your body to relax.

Feel the earth beneath you,

Supporting you and holding you up.

Close your eyes.

This is your time.

Let go of worry and relax into this moment.

Notice any sounds outside of the room.

Acknowledge them and then let them go.

Acknowledge any sounds inside of the room.

Acknowledge them and let them go.

Let your whole body relax.

Release your scalp and hair.

Let the forehead relax.

Relax your face and jaw.

Drop your shoulders.

Relax your arms and hands.

Let them soften.

Release your feet and legs.

Allow them to open.

Let your whole body relax.

Bring your attention now to your breath.

Focus on your inhale and exhale.

Visualize as you breathe in,

Breathing in cleansing energy.

And as you breathe out,

Release tension from the body.

Breathe in relaxation.

Breathe out tension.

If thoughts intrude,

Allow them to float by.

Breathe in relaxation.

Breathe out tension.

Tension to your throat center.

Imagine a pure blue light.

See the light swirling clockwise at your throat center.

As you visualize the swirling blue light around you,

You can see the blue swirling light starting faster.

Connect to wisdom and compassion.

Higher consciousness and inspiration.

Spinning in harmony to your seven chakras.

Four chakras below it.

The two chakra centers above it.

Allow yourself to feel pure and honest.

To feel connected to your creativity and communication filled with integrity.

Repeat silently to yourself.

I am honest in my communication.

I live an authentic life.

I speak my truth and know when to listen.

I live a life I love.

Returning back to your breath now.

Breathing in healing light.

In the inhale,

Breathe in healing energy.

As you exhale,

Breathe out tension.

We will now close down the throat.

Bring your attention once more to the blue light at your throat center.

Imagine the healing light starting to slow down.

Getting smaller and smaller.

Coming back down to size.

To be the size of a grape.

You are bringing your chakra back to normal function.

Silently repeat to yourself.

My throat chakra is working and is at normal function.

Then bringing your attention once more back to your breath.

Focusing on your inhale.

Bringing your attention to your full body.

Maybe start to wiggle your fingers and toes.

Roll your shoulders up and back.

Take a big deep inhale.

Thank you so much for joining me in this chakra meditation.

I wish you a blessed day.
