In this video,
I want to share with you three powerful questions that you can use in different areas of your life.
Our first question is going to explore how you can get out of your head and into action.
The next question is how to shift your mindset around something.
And then the third question is going to help you go deeper inside to see the layers beneath whatever the situation is that you are exploring.
I'm a coach and I love using powerful questions to help elicit people's own insight and wisdom and helping them find the action and the insight that's right for them.
And so the first question.
What would it look like?
If it were easy.
I got this question from Tim Ferriss and I love it because we often make mistakes.
A mountain.
And a struggle.
Out of everything,
We think everything has to be hard.
There's something that we've been indoctrinated in when life has to be a struggle.
And I get,
Life is sometimes hard.
There is plenty of suffering.
But I love this question because it breaks us out of it needing to be hard.
What if?
It were easy.
Hmm,
Where does my mind go when I think about that?
For example,
If I was going to record this video.
And I was gonna see it as being hard.
In my mind,
I'd be like,
Oh my gosh,
Okay,
I need to record a video,
Okay,
I need to get all the lights set up,
I need to prepare,
I need to rehearse for five minutes,
I need to do all these things,
I need to go to public speaking lessons,
I need to just have everything set up,
I need the perfect camera,
Perfect place,
All the things.
And then,
Or I could say.
What would it look like if it were easy?
Well,
I would just take my camera.
I would hit record.
And I would see what comes.
Huh.
And so that energy,
For me,
In that case,
Could just get me into action.
And for you,
You can use that in so many different ways,
So many places where we create a lot of steps that don't necessarily need to be there.
What would it look like if it were easy?
Pick something that when you feel like,
I don't know if I want to do that,
Ask that question,
See how it shifts,
See how it gives you a different perspective,
And let it be easy.
Next question.
What if.
.
.
The opposite.
This is a,
I believe,
A Byron Katie question.
And the question,
What I love about it is it allows us to shift a belief.
We might have a belief.
A belief in essence is not true.
An objective fact is true,
But beliefs,
We can change.
And even if we believe something,
Like we probably believed something a long time ago that you don't believe now.
And so sometimes when we have a thought,
I'm not good enough for that.
Sometimes it's just nice,
Okay,
Well,
That's a disempowering belief.
And if we can choose our beliefs,
If we can try choosing them,
Why not?
Let's just explore it.
If we can try choosing new beliefs,
Well,
Then if I say,
Well,
What if the opposite were true?
Then I'm good enough.
Okay,
Well,
If I was good enough.
.
.
How would someone who.
.
.
His identity is good enough,
How would they act?
In this situation.
And so it's like a really powerful way to just see,
Well,
What if the opposite were true?
Huh,
Okay,
Well then,
What I would I do?
Because the thing about questions is that when we can find ways,
We find ways,
The subconscious works ways to find answers to our questions.
And so when we ask a disempowering question,
We often get disempowering answers.
But when we ask an empowering question,
In this case,
What if the opposite were true,
Our mind starts to look for empowering answers and we can start shifting into new narratives.
And so when you get caught in a thought loop,
Maybe you're ruminating,
Maybe you imagine that you had a conversation with someone and it went terribly and you're in your head and you're like,
Oh my gosh,
They hate me,
I said this,
I wish I said that.
What if the opposite were true?
Oh,
Well maybe they actually really liked that thing I said.
Maybe me taking a chance and having this conversation was actually exactly what the room needed.
So it can just shift things and all of a sudden if the belief shifts,
Often the feeling shifts.
Will shift and the experience will shift.
What if the opposite were true?
Last question,
This is going into the depth work now.
Nothing is missing.
What if nothing is missing?
In my coaching training,
This is,
In some ways,
The basis of the question.
Basis of our training.
Is to explore that,
Okay,
What if nothing is missing?
If we really believe that we are whole,
Perfect,
And complete,
That we have everything we need within us at all times.
When we can ask,
What if nothing is missing?
What happens is we open up to identifying the parts of us that feel like maybe there is something missing.
And when we can do that,
We can see,
Well,
What is it about that part of me that feels like I need more money to be happy?
What is it about that part of me that feels like I need more of this to be happy?
And we can start to work with that in a different way,
To see that that part's often trying to protect us.
It's trying to get our sense of security in the way that it thinks it can.
And it might succeed.
But it never is sustainable.
It might succeed for a little bit,
And then we're gonna need it again.
This is why people end up on the treadmill,
Or they hit a goal,
And it's not enough,
And then I need the goal again.
And so it's like the endless cycle that we set ourselves in.
And so by asking the question,
What if nothing's missing?
Slow down,
Maybe into a deeper sense of awe.
I have everything I need,
I really do.
And there's probably a deeper wisdom in you that knows that.
And so,
Okay,
Well what's getting in the way of that?
And that's where a lot of the coaching work I do is about what's getting in the way?
Of you realizing that you have everything you need right here and right now.
And when you access that feeling.
When you access that flow of energy.
You're all good.
And isn't that all goodness?
All the things that you want to have happen start unfolding.
It's not that you don't do anything,
It's that you have a genuine inspiration of wholeness that wants to create,
That wants to share.
It can be a really beautiful,
Beautiful experience.
And so I hope these questions.
.
.
Help you.
In different ways.
Use them when you need to find to take action.
What would it look like if it were easy?
We need to shift the perspective.
What if the opposite were true?
And when you need a reminder to come deeper into the joy,
The abundance,
The fullness,
The love that is always here.
What if nothing's missing?
Hope these were helpful.

What if nothing's missing and you like these little sort of questions and mantras?
I think you might like my course,

Where we do a spin on some of these questions,
But I state them as mantras rather than questions.
So I hope you go ahead and check out that audio course on here,
And I'll see you soon.
