Hello,
My name is Lou Redman.
Thank you for listening.
I am excited to share with you a little poem I wrote around trusting the timing of your life.
It's called Your Timing vs.
God's Timing.
Your timing is anxious,
Always wanting things to happen fast.
God's timing is steady,
Never rushed,
Yet always blossoming.
Your timing has expectation,
As if you can manufacture your happiness through created things.
God's timing strips away everything you think you need so you know your true identity.
Your timing makes minutes out of hours and days out of weeks.
God's timing knows not months nor years,
But an ever-unfolding eternity.
God's timing always arrives and is arriving.
It's asking a question while at the same time giving the answer.
Your timing wants quantum leaps and new realities.
God's timing knows your ultimate good.
He saves you from yourself.
Your timing thinks you're destined to be somebody.
God's timing reminds you that you are nobody.
And in nobody,
You are everybody.
And in every body,
You are the one mystical body.
You are the heartbeat of the universe.
You are life giving itself to itself.
Can't you see?
No.
You are at the banquet,
But you starve in the well,
But you thirst in a dream while you sleep.
Open your eyes.
You are a current of light more immense than the sun,
Brighter than the stars.
Yet,
You worry over trivial matters.
What he said,
She said,
How much money is in the bank,
What letters come after your name.
If you only knew your true name,
The one you had before you were born.
If only you can remember your home in the beloved.
God's timing is right here and now presenting itself as your current situation.
If it could speak,
It would yell.
This is what you need,
Even though you think otherwise.
Your timing is limited,
Uninformed,
And misguided.
God's timing is perfect.
It's perfect.
God's timing is perfect.
Thank you so much for listening.
Hope it speaks and meets you wherever you're at.
And if you are looking for more support to trust your timing,
I encourage you to check out a longer meditation I have on here called Trust the Timing of Your Life.
Sending you so much love as you continue to surrender to your unique unfolding.
