So I want to get into our practice today.

So our theme was inspired as if you follow some of my work,

You've probably heard me share a lot of the things I do based on my own struggles or the things that I go through.

And then this one was similar in that vein.

I was in a training,

A facilitator training,

And there was a small group of eight,

And there was a guest teacher that came on.

This guest teacher is someone that I've followed for like five or six years,

And he's this larger presence in the personal development space.

And as he jumped on,

I could feel the energy in my body.

Somatically,

This tension just came across my chest.

I felt this,

Like this nerves rushing.

I felt my blood start to get a little hotter,

Start to move a little faster.

And it was this experience of a lot of nervousness.

A lot of like my energy was just shifted.

And instead of asking him a question in relation to the actual training,

I brought this up to him because I wanted to presence it and just get his take on it.

And his response was really validating,

And it was a beautiful reminder because he would just talk about how he experiences the exact same thing in different containers and different aspects of his life.

And it was just a reminder.

Like,

I know this intellectually,

But my body,

And that's part of why this practice is on raising our energy field is because we might understand something with our minds.

But if our body,

If our energy is not grown to that space,

Then it's going to create some sort of dissonance.

And so it was just a really great reminder that he's not any different than me.

And no one's any different than anyone.

We like to put people,

We like to put people on pedestals when it's really the only difference is the work that we've done on ourselves.

The work that we've done to feel those feelings and to grow and expand with it.

And the other aspect of this is what he what I was reminded of is,

Is building a body,

An energy field that can hold the things that we say we want.

That can hold the energy of whatever it is we want to bring in into our life.

And the classic example of what it means when I'm talking about holding energy is you see the the area where it's tough to hold energy in lottery winners.

So there's this common narrative that someone who wins the lottery,

Right,

They're at a certain level of consciousness,

Maybe energetically within money,

And they get all of this millions and millions of dollars.

That's a lot of energy that they have not built the awareness,

The consciousness to hold and to navigate and to manage.

And so that money comes in.

And what ends up happening?

It ends up leak.

It's like it's like fueling a light bulb.

It's like if you put 1000 watts into a 50 watt bulb,

There's a lot of high energy and then it starts to sink out.

And often those people are worse off,

More burnt out than they started.

And so I'm a big believer in the slow,

Straight and narrow is our path.

Now we're talking energetically with money in that frame,

But it's also in all of the emotions,

The beauty,

The joy,

The love that we want to bring in.

I had a teacher,

Some of you might have heard of him,

David Hawkins,

And he maps out the levels of consciousness somewhere from like apathy to I forget exactly what he labels as the highest one.

But it's a really good framework if you're interested in looking at it and just seeing what it means to really raise our energy and to raise our consciousness,

To understand what are those emotions that are typically present in that field of awareness.

And the practice in let is letting go.

The practice is noticing when those feelings are present,

Seeing if we can move through them,

See if we can let go of that denser energy so that our being rises and that we can be in a state of light.

We're in a state of lovingness of joy,

More often,

Right,

Because we all know people that it's typically in a state of a fear or negativity.

And so a lot of you if you're on here already I guarantee you have done a lot of this work,

And the work just continues.

And that's part of what we're doing here is to see how we can,

How we can create,

You know,

In a new agey term I don't use this term that much but it's really true how we can raise our vibration and how we can raise as my teacher Cynthia Bergeau would say,

Raise our vibrational presence.

And the way that we do this is using how she talks about this word vigilance,

That we stay vigilant to our energy.

We stay vigilant,

Our vibrational presence we notice where am I at right now and we see if we can let go.

And we can hold more we see if when someone's in front of us,

And they cut us off.

If we can not hold on to that feeling of righteousness or anger and let it pass,

So we can make sure that we're staying in our awareness that we want to stay in and vigilance.

This is mindfulness.

This is being aware of sensations,

Being aware of our body,

Being aware of what is happening in the moment,

And retraining ourselves,

Putting ourselves also in situations that are going to force us to grow to put ourselves out of our comfort zone.

I remember,

Very great example because I just talked about it in the beginning,

Is that last year,

When my first live,

It was this this time exactly last year.

And I remember just being just my body having that experience that almost had had in that in this training,

Like I was so nervous so like oh my gosh this new thing.

But by continuing to press start and to go live,

My body started to realize that this is safe.

And that's what we're doing.

We're retraining our bodies in these situations to say okay this is safe I can be with this and that grows us and that expands us in all that we're capable of anything we want to bring into our life.

David Hawkins would always say,

We don't attract what we want.

We don't attract what we think we attract what we are.

And so our job is to be that,

Which is the energy field of the things that we want to bring into our life and who we want to be so it's always an inside process.

And that's what we're going to work on today in in our practice.

All right friends let's dig into our practice,

Closing down the eyes.

Or first really just getting your body in that space.

If I were to say that you were going to hold a great amount of energy just naturally,

Where would you bring your body?

You'd probably just intuitively bring it to the space that is most receptive for meditation.

You'll feel your an uprightness through your body.

Feel your feet on the ground if you're in a chair you feel the support beneath you there's a strong there's an easeful sense.

Feeling your body soften.

The front body softens to bring in to receive.

The body is strong to hold.

And the lengthening through the back of the neck.

And to send some energy through our body.

To the feel like when you breathe in you're breathing down the front body.

And when you breathe out breathing up the spine through the crown of your head.

And let that be your rhythm let yourself create.

Move this energy internally.

Bringing that fresh air down the front body.

Sending your energy up the back of your spine.

Notice any place that you're tensing.

Relax into.

Whatever ground you find yourself on.

You can keep that pattern of breath or you can just find let your breath find its natural rhythm.

And starting to tune into your body as a whole.

And asking how do I bring vigilance to this moment.

Vigilance meaning how do I bring vibrant presence.

See if you can feel the vibration of your body.

The subtle energy coursing through your bloodstream,

Your muscles.

See if there's any pulsing of energy.

And allow your breathing body to activate this energy.

And then I'd like you to bring your awareness to your fingers.

And really channel the awareness here.

Channel that vibrant presence.

And notice if your awareness creates any energy.

It might,

It might not.

Because our awareness is so,

So powerful.

So see if you can notice that simply in where you bring it onto your body.

You have a vibrant energy at your fingertips literally and metaphorically.

And the more we stay vigilant and present,

We alter our state of being in this world.

And together let's take a gentle breath in.

And let that go.

And stay with the awareness on your whole body.

And what we're working on doing is connecting to the life force that is already fully bright light open at the core of who we are.

What happens is our energy gets distorted from holding on,

Contracting,

Tensing the challenges,

The traumas,

All the experience of life that blocks this.

And so notice if you can feel in your body,

Physically or energetically,

Where you feel any of these blockages.

And for many manifest in our chest over the heart.

Maybe it's your jaw clenching or tightness.

And wherever you're feeling stuck,

See if you can bring that vibrant presence towards it.

Just being with it for another moment.

We're now going to play with something here.

I'd like you to imagine that your physical body shifts to a fully energetic body.

So kind of imagine almost as if you dissolve and you're this doppelganger of energy.

And once you connect with that,

See if you can actually then leave your body.

And so now you're turning around and you can look at yourself as this as this being of energy.

Sitting,

Laying down wherever you're at,

Just looking at yourself and it's just it's just energy.

Notice what color do you see your energy as.

And notice where you see those blocks in the field and how they manifest as a darkness distortion.

And if you're having a challenge visualizing this,

That's completely normal.

Let's see if you can hang here.

If you need to just imagine yourself not energetically,

You can do that as well.

So bring your awareness to this energetic body that you're looking at and especially to those parts that are blocked.

I want you to feel like you're starting to send this healing,

Vibrant awareness to these parts.

Noticing whatever happens as you do that.

If you notice colors changing,

Energy moving.

I'm going to offer some words and intentions to help us facilitate this.

So sharing with yourself the energy that you see and say this silently or you can say it out loud.

May you open your heart.

May you be filled with love.

May you be filled with light.

May you be healed.

May you be a source of healing in this world.

May you open your heart.

May you be filled with love.

May you be filled with light.

May you be healed.

May you be a source of healing in this world.

May you be sending one of those that really resonated with you.

Noticing with your energy that any of those blockages are shifting.

Maybe you see them dissolving.

And go ahead and come back into your body still noticing that energy.

You're feeling yourself as that color that you saw noticing if the color has changed.

Some of that energy starts to move back into the physical.

And now sharing those same words and intentions with yourself.

May I open my heart.

May I be filled with love.

May I be filled with light.

May I be healed.

May I be a source of healing in this world.

May I open my heart.

May I be filled with love.

May I be filled with light.

May I be healed.

May I be a source of healing in this world.

Maybe repeating one of those that feels true.

And then letting that go taking a moment to notice if any of that energy feels different.

I'm going to do a little practice of just feeling like your whole body was breathing in and your whole body is breathing out.

Almost like you're increasing that energy through each pore of your body.

Maybe you bring in light,

Maybe you feel a release with each exhale.

Just notice if anything shifts as you notice your whole body breathing in and breathing out.

Noticing it has that color changed.

What color are you feeling right now?

We're now going to use this energy and allow it to work through us,

Really imagining us in real life.

So we can expand this and grow.

So I'd like you to bring to mind a situation that makes you a little nervous or brings you out of your comfort zone.

Maybe it's not the most fearful situation but one where you're just a little bit at your edge.

Maybe it's the thought of leaving something,

A job,

A relationship.

Maybe it's having an uncomfortable conversation with someone.

Maybe it's you just living the life that you've always wanted to live that feels scary.

See if you can bring whatever is coming to mind and if there's nothing coming to mind,

That's okay too.

In each moment that you're breathing,

Your being with it,

Your body is reorienting.

Your body is starting to say,

Okay,

This is safe.

I can be with this.

Stay vigilant.

Stay connected to that vibrant presence.

And then reminding yourself of something that you may know already deep inside,

Sharing these words and intentions to yourself.

I am love.

I am light.

I am here to serve.

I am love.

I am light.

I am here to serve.

And then imagine yourself going through that experience.

Feeling the fruits that come from expanding your comfort zone and going towards new experiences.

Feel your body able to hold more,

To grow more from it.

Reaching a new level,

Not linearly,

Energetically.

And maybe you feel that energy of your body,

Maybe you feel that color,

Maybe you just feel it expand wider in all directions.

Stay connected to this energy in your body.

Before we fully come back here,

Notice whatever you're feeling right now and ask yourself,

How can you really actualize this in your life?

How can you put yourself in situations to let your body hold more,

To keep your vibrational presence growing?

And the awareness is the first step.

So notice when you feel some of that discomfort,

Breathe into it,

Release it,

And keep moving forward.

Together we'll take a final full breath in and let that breath go.

And in your own time,

There's no rush in coming back to our space here whenever it feels right.
