Hi,
This is Lori Clemens and I would like to welcome you to this release,
Relax,
Receive guided meditation,
Intended to help you get more in touch with your heart,
To release what you may no longer choose to carry,
To relax into the present moment,
And to receive what supports you as you move forward in your day.
Let's begin by getting comfortable in your seat.
I invite you to close your eyes and take a few deep breaths,
Taking a moment to be present,
To just be here in this moment.
Every day is different.
Every day we are different.
Just take a moment to feel what is present inside you right now.
Letting go of any judgment and just being present.
Begin to take deeper,
Slower breaths.
With each exhale,
Becoming aware of any thoughts,
Any worries,
Any things that you may have been carrying,
Releasing anything that you choose to let go of.
With each breath,
Going a little deeper,
With each breath getting a little bit lighter,
Making space as you release what has been weighing you down.
And if your mind begins to wander,
That's okay.
That's what our minds are created to do.
Gently release any thoughts and bring your attention back to your breath.
Taking nice deep breaths,
Filling your lungs,
Your heart,
Being aware as your belly rises with each breath.
And with each exhale,
The feeling of lightness.
There's a softening,
An opening happening with each exhale.
A release of whatever you've been carrying.
You get to choose how far you would like to open.
You get to choose how much you would like to soften.
Remember this is your meditation.
This is your special time to focus on yourself.
Your time to release what no longer serves you.
If you're open and it sounds good to you,
We'll allow this release to softly work its way down from the top of your head all the way down to your toes.
Gently feel the impact of this gentle soft release as it works its way down beginning at your forehead to your eyes,
Your jaw,
Your shoulders.
In the past,
They've held so much weight.
Let any tension,
Any weight just melt away.
Don't rush it as it continues to work its way down to your shoulders and your back,
Your hips,
Your thighs,
And all the way down into your toes.
Allowing each muscle to release and relax.
Releasing into the support of your chair,
Your bed,
Your floor,
And into the support of the earth below.
Releasing anything else that may be coming up for you.
Welcome it,
Acknowledge it,
And gently let go of it with each breath.
Continue to take slow,
Deep breaths as your belly rises and falls,
Rises and falls.
Now become aware of this feeling of relaxation.
Feel into the ease,
The peace,
The lightness,
And even the feeling of contentment.
As the mind continues to bring up thoughts,
Just continue to set them aside for these few moments.
Welcome the feelings of peace.
Allow yourself to fall deeper into the feelings of contentment and ease.
Continuing to feel into your deep,
Slow breaths,
Being fully present in the ease and contentment of this moment.
And now that your mind and your heart have released,
Relaxed,
Softened,
And opened,
What is it that you choose to receive as you prepare to move forward?
What is it that you need to support you as you move through your day?
Perhaps you choose to receive self-compassion,
Opening your heart with an overflow of love and kindness toward yourself.
Or maybe you'd like to take in joy in each moment,
Or to connect with those you come in contact with today.
Maybe it's curiosity and adventure in the world around you,
Or permission to do what lights you up.
Perhaps opening your heart to fully receive the love and support of the people closest to you.
What is it that you choose to receive today?
Take a few minutes to explore what it is that your heart desires.
If it's comfortable for you,
Place your hand on your heart as you feel into the peace you feel in this moment.
As you release,
Relax,
And receive.
Take a few more deep breaths and prepare to come back into the room.
While your thoughts are still fresh in your mind,
You may want to take a few minutes to journal what came up for you.
Those thoughts of release,
Relax,
And most important,
Those thoughts of receive.
When you're ready,
You may gently open your eyes.
