Welcome to this healing sleep.
Meditation.
Begin by taking in several long cleansing,
Relaxing breaths.
Then,
Starting at the top of your head,
Feel the warmth of relaxation move down your body.
Feel the muscles in your head as they relax behind your eyes,
Then your mouth and jaw,
Your neck and shoulders,
And your arms,
Then your back,
Your abdomen,
Your hips,
And legs.
Take another deep breath as you fully melt into your bed.
Take another deep breath.
Imagine the air you breathe as it travels throughout your body,
Picking up any remaining tension and breathing it out.
Imagine as you breathe in the fresh,
Clean air being carried to every cell in your body.
As the cell drops off the oxygen,
It picks up anything that is no longer needed and carries it back to the lungs.
Picture as you breathe in the clean air and breathe out what you no longer need.
Focus your attention now on your body.
Think about the healing that you want to take place.
Create an image in your mind of your current state of being.
Whatever it is that you would like to heal,
Picture it in your mind.
Your body is strong and has many ways of healing itself.
As you continue to relax,
You free up more and more energy and resources for your body to use in any way that it needs.
Consider the resources traveling to your mitochondria and how those mitochondria in each and every cell are now able to produce even more energy.
Consider that energy now being used to strengthen your immune system,
Promote growth of healthy tissue and remove toxins or invaders.
Each cell in your body is now at maximum efficiency and happily humming away at work.
Your body has all the energy and resources that it needs and even more to be able to heal.
Your body is powerful and more than capable.
You are healthy and strong.
The wisdom of your body is sending energy and resources to wherever they are needed.
See your body letting go of everything it no longer needs.
Your body is strong and able to heal.
Picture yourself full of energy and vitality as you effortlessly move through your day,
Confidently interacting with others.
You are relaxed,
Energetic and upbeat.
You have energy to spare,
Even at the end of the day.
You will continue to relax as you linger here a few more minutes.
You are fully able to let go of everything from your day as you continue to melt into your bed.
Your body will continue to heal and recover as you sleep.
And you will wake refreshed and ready for your day.
And now you are relaxed and ready for sleep.
You will now allow yourself to drift off into a deep,
Refreshing and healing sleep.
